This luxury and spacious 2 bed air-conditioned apartment. Set just a couple of hundred metres away from both the Vila Sol golf clubhouse and the Pestana 5 star hotel which gives access to a kids club, tennis courts, indoor/outdoor pools, restaurant and bars and a luxurious spa, (all at additional cost) It overlooks the communal pool and landscaped gardens which can be seen from both the lower terrace and the large roof terrace. For the golf lover, Vila Sol boasts a 27 hole championship course along with facilities such as driving range, golf academy and superb club house. At the entrance to the complex there is an English/Irish pub offering live music, couple of restaurants also serving cocktails, wine and tapas bistro, bank and patisserie. Vilamoura marina is a short drive away and provides great nightlife, restaurants and shops along with many excursions such as fishing, dolphin safaris, cave tours etc. The aqua park is just a few minutes away, horse riding and go-karting and the zoo marine are also available within a 15 minute drive.

A great location for peace and relaxation on the complex with all amenities at hand and some fabulous beaches all within easy reach.

We stayed in Aug 2015 and had a fantastic holiday in this superb apartment with luxury fixtures/fittings. Great position on small complex with views over the pool which was quiet even at peak season meaning we often had it to ourselves! Pool large enough for lengths yet very child friendly. Superb layout with sunny first floor patio which was bathed in sunlight all day. Great BBQ, fantastic roof terrace with luxury rattan furniture. Car hire recommended for travel to beaches, free short tennis on site and 5 star Villa sol hotel and golf course clubhouse 2 minutes walk away for a 'luxury' drink or dining. Very secure with blackout shutters and efficient air con. Sky TV. A very good supermarket nearby and Oscars Irish pub with live entertainment nightly. We were hoping for a relaxing holiday and that is exactly what we got and more. We look forward to returning.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is equipped with air-conditioning which provides cooling and heating. No smoking inside the apartment. Cars can be parked securely outside the apartment. Beach towels are available for guests use. A welcome pack can be arranged if required at additional cost. 2 x Tennis racquets for guest use and a hairdryer provided. A cot /child bed can be provided at an extra cost of £40.00 per week including bedding, a high chair is also available at £30.00 per week. 24 hour access to a local contact is available for your convenience. Unlimited internet access and great choice of TV channels. Outside: The property is surrounded by well kept gardens and manicured pathways with bench seating available. It is a low rise development with a maximum of 2 stories. Communal pool with separate shallow children's pool, shower and a decking area for sunbathing. Adjacent to the pool are two 'play courts' which are free of charge. The gardens are lit up at night and the underwater pool lighting gives a turquoise glow to the evening. The roof terrace provides a lovely breeze for sunbathing and a sofa set for relaxing to enjoy that glass of wine in peaceful surroundings. Larger tennis courts along with a gym are available in the hotel at additional cost. Utility Room: Washing machine, iron/ironing board, clothes rack, dustpan and brush, Hairdryer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are provided for the duration of your stay and prices are quoted accordingly. The property is cleaned before arrival but additional cleaning/laundry services can be arranged upon request but may be subject to additional charges. Other: The lower terrace is accessed via two sets of patio doors leading off the lounge. There is a BBQ & Parasol and a dining table to seat 6. The large roof terrace gives added privacy for sunbathing with 4 sun loungers and a beautiful sofa set for relaxing.

A home from home in a Fantastic Location

We had a fantastic holiday in this gorgeous apartment. My youngest child doesn't like going away, but felt at home straight away in this wonderful apartment. With ample living space and a spacious roof terrace we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay. It is situated in a great location. A short drive to a beach,the marina and bars & restaurants within walking distance. Jo was a great source of information and local knowledge. The furniture is modern and the linen luxurious. We will certainly return in the very near future. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family.

Loved the property,very clean and modern, great location would recommend

Stayed here for 2 weeks and loved it,if you looking for a chilled holiday to relax this is for you.The apartment is very nice and clean and is everything you need home from home,location it 15 minutes walk to the nearest shop and restaurant bar, 10 minutes in taxi to Vilamoura where the bar and restaurants are excellent, one bit of advice hire a car for the super markets and for days out,highly recommend.

Spacious well appointed apartment

Great apartment, has everything you need, plenty of space, the upper deck is brilliant to either sit in the sun or under the shade and chill, plenty of TV channels to choose from and a short stroll to the pool.

perfect location , perfect accomodation

We use the villa every year for a week’s golf and the location, amenities and layout suits our needs.

Joanne is a fantastic host and within 4 weeks of our return to the UK we re-book for the next year.

Everything is so simple and easy, from picking your keys up at the security house, finding the apartment, with plenty of off street parking on the door step, to returning your keys on departure.

Joanne even provides the contact of someone local in case of any issues, which I can say, in our 3 years we haven’t had to use.

We have the phone no. of Costas a local taxi driver and on an evening he collects us from the door step and takes us down to the marina then completes the return journey at the end of the evening ( approx. 10 euros )

The layout is spacious clean and tidy, with the use of Wi-Fi and a wide variety of TV Channels at your disposal.

There is also a few basics stored in a drawer if you forget to bring (adaptors, chargers, maps etc.)

There is also a well-stocked supermarket within a 5 mins drive, with a few shops/eateries within the complex.

The apartment is located within 15mins drive of all the Oceanic Golf Courses which suits our personal needs, and at the end of the cul-de-sac is the car park to Vila Sol Golf Course.

Overall we cannot find fault with the accommodation and plan on using Joanne’s hospitality for many years to come.

All we needed

I stayed here in June 2016 & it was just what we needed. The place is very clean & tidy with all the mod cons. Apart from all the great restaurants

within a 10 minute drive, my wife loved the large rooftop balcony where away from it all there was a lovely breeze when it got too hot. It was also good because I prefer the beach & she prefers the pool so due to to the apartments location we were able to alternate days at both. I love my golf

& the Vila Sol course is great. It's a 27 hole course & has something for everyone & the apartment is only a few hundred yards from the clubhouse.

The food & drink is really good in the clubhouse & the staff were very friendly. I thought the golf was a bit pricey though, so to get around it we played a couple of other courses & Twighlight at Vila Sol.( which was 45 Euro & had plenty of time to finish the round & it was cooler) ;-)

Thank you to Joanne for all the help & recommendations. I hope you'll have us back next year.

The nearest beaches at Vilamoura and Quarteira are a 5-10 min drive away. Ancao beach and the Ria Formosa nature reserve are about 15-20 minutes away. The Algarve is full of fabulous clean, unspoilt beaches so if you'd like to explore a little you will find some that are non commercialised.


The apartment is just 20 minutes drive from Faro airport, a taxi will cost approx 30 euro maybe more if supplements are added to carry golf clubs. It may be beneficial to hire a car if you want to explore the surrounding areas but a taxi into Vilamoura costs in the region of 10 euros.


The on-site pub Oscars, Wildfire Smokehouse and Grill, wine bistro, newsagent, deli and restaurants etc are a 10 minute walk away (1km) The Vilamoura marina is a 5-10 min drive away as is the old fishing village of the adjacent Quarteira (local market on weds). The town of Loule is just 10 mins drive away which hosts a market on a Saturday morning in the old town.

Further Details:

Close to the entrance to the complex are a few excellent restaurants where you can enjoy typical Portuguese dining, meat and fish at prices more reasonable prices than those charged at Vilamoura marina. There is also a michelin star restaurant near the Hilton hotel in the old village called Willies.

There is an ATM machine at the golf club house and a Barclays bank and ATM at the entrance to the complex where the bar/restaurants are. The hotel spa offers guests a range of soothing therapies for total relaxation including skin care, body treatments, massages, hydrotherapy and hairdresser.

Booking Notes:
A 25% non refundable deposit is required within 2 days of booking and full payment is required 6 weeks prior to arrival. A £200 deposit is requested with final payment for damages/breakages which is fully refundable within 10 days after the management agent has completed the cleaning and inventory check. Bookings taken by phone and/or email. Confirmations sent by email. Full details of address and collection of keys etc will be sent by email once the final balance has been received. Subject to availability, the apartment next door or another on the complex may be available for separate families/larger bookings, please enquire. Cancellation Policy - no refund for deposits to secure the dates, 60% refund for cancellations with a minimum 30 days notice.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is flexible but generally any period of 1 week can be booked subject to availability. Access available from 2pm on day of arrival and departure should be no later than midday although this is all flexible depending on availability.
