The Lulworth area is notable for its wonderful walks and and spectacular 'Jurassic' coastline including Durdle Door and Kimmeridge bay where there is the recently opened Etches fossil museum.
Good local places for swimming include Lulworth cove, Durdle Door beaches and Kimmeridge. Within easy reach are Corfe Castle with its spectacular ruins, Weymouth Bay and Abottsbury.
