Lovely Accommodation

  • 5 of 5

A well thought out/equipped/presented cottage, an excellent base for visiting numerous places in Fife and surrounding area. Food parcel was great to arrive to...no panic that day to find somewhere for basics. Wish the stay was longer!

Very warm welcome to St Andrews

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely stay in this warm and inviting cottage. Directions for finding the place were spot on. There was a welcome basket of milk, orange juice, bread etc and a vase of flowers on the table. It's situated not far from St Andrews in peaceful and very beautiful countryside. The cottage was very clean and the main shower fantastic ! I wish we could have stayed longer.

Great cottage, lovely situation

  • 5 of 5

This was our second visit to Barn End Cottage. It's a lovely cottage, well thought out and good attention to detail. Nice to have welcome gifts of milk ,bread, juice, shortbread etc after a long journey, and fresh flowers. The owners are friendly and very helpful. Logie is just a few miles from St Andrews but a lovely peaceful little village in beautiful countryside. We took our bikes and there are some good designated routes and country lanes for cycling. Our sons are golf fanatics and it wasn't too expensive for them to enjoy playing the local courses. Some beautiful villages and walks along the Fife coast. We saw a large pod of porpoises which was a real treat.

I would definitely recommend this cottage.

A very well presented property.

  • 5 of 5

Do you want a quiet and restful place to stay? If you do then look no further. We had a very happy time here in a thoughtfully, well furnished and well equipped house. No feeling here of 'it's only a holiday house, anything will do' which we've come across elsewhere too often in the past. Thoroughly recommended!

a bucolic retreat in the hills of Fife

  • 5 of 5

Barn End Cottage is a delightful residence situated on a country lane, amid a few other quaint homes, in the lovely hills of Fife. The nights are very peaceful and tranquil, mornings bring sunshine (atleast during the week we were there) and the melodies of the local birds. The home has been tastefully and comfortably renovated and updated. The kitchen is modern and well supplied. The bedrooms all have clean, warm and comfortable beds. Bathrooms are clean, modern, and roomy. The owners were very kind and welcoming. Right out side the door of Barn End, you will find lovely places to walk and hike, up the hill to the left is a wonderful spot to catch the sunsets. Barn End was a gem of a find, close to St. Andrews and other attractions in and around Fife. Thank you, Gary, for a lovely place to spend a week!
