The beach is just a moment away, or accessed directly from the residents private pool and toddlers jacuzzi pool. Your own sun loungers and sunshade are provided beside the pool for the duration of your stay. This is a beautiful apartment in an enviable location. Only 10 minutes from central Marbella, Puerto Cabopino is the only privately owned port on the Costa del Sol. With a relaxed atmosphere, picturesque harbour and renowned restaurants, and beach bars, Puerto Cabopino is undoubtedly the Coast's best kept secret. Lifeguards, on duty throughout the summer, combined with the sandy beaches gentle slope into the sea make Cabopino child-friendly and safe.

For many years I owned and ran the Original Cabopino Rentals. A lot of people know me well, ask around and you will find I have a good reputation. For many years I worked for the owner of the Marina. Now I live most of the time in the mountains with my donkeys and other animals.

The apartment has been completely refurbished and was finished on 30th June 2010 ready for the first guests to arrive 1st July 2010. Manuel and his family from Madrid. The day after their arrival they booked it again for 2011. They and most other guests have continued booking every year, now for next year 2014.

IDEAL APARTMENT IN IDEAL LOCATION.

We recently stayed for 10 days in Pauline's wonderful apartment in the Port of Cabopino.

Having previously visited Cabopino and stayed in various apartments we can highly recommend this apartment being so close to the port with the lovely and varied restaurants, bars and private swimming pool adjacent to the beach.

The apartment is clean, modern and contains all that is required for a relaxing holiday with the benefit and convenience of secured underground allocated parking.

Pauline we are studying the calender for our next visit! see you soon.

I did sleep in it myself yesterday for the third time only, as it is never empty. If you are looking at the my apartment and it is full on the dates you wish to visit I do have a friend with an apartment a bit closer to the pool, but with lovely view and for the same price as mine. I fell in love with Puerto Cabopino, some twenty years ago and decided I had to own a property there. I was lucky enough to be able to buy a large apartment and a small boat. The family have grown up and I no longer need such a large apartment, but felt I still had to have my own little bit of the "Oasis" which is Cabopino, so I bought another smaller apartment. This I have completely refurbished with no expense spared, so I can also enjoy a little bit of luxury when I stay.

Coast/Beach:

1 minutes walk from Cabopino beach, which is immaculate and cleaned daily. As well as your personal sun loungers by the pool, the beach has sun loungers and shades to hire and has 3 beach bars where food and drink are served all day. The port has a wide selection of international bars and restaurants, as well as a selection of tapas.

Travel:

Malaga airport is approximately 25 minutes drive. Taxis can be hired from the airport. There is a taxi rank in the marina. Cars can also be hired at the airport. There is also a cheap reliable local bus service.

There is a small supermarket within the marina, so a car is not essential. Often people comment that they only used the car to drive back to the airport. It is possible to hirer a car locally, should you prefer to get a taxi from the airport.

Distances:

The port is very well located and is just 10 minutes from Marbella, 15 minutes from Puerto Banus, 15 minutes from Fuengirola and 25 minutes from Malaga. Gibraltar is just an hour away. Gibraltar is just over an hours drive. You can even see Africa on a clear day.

Further Details:

The port is so relaxing and friendly, with it own small supermarket that people often just stay there. However it is well worth hiring a car, just for a couple of days or using the reliable local bus services as there are so many wonderful and historic places to visit, as well as Marbella’s and Puerto Banus’s fabulous shops.

We or our agent will meet you upon your arrival and show you to the apartment. Should you have any problems you will be able to contact us or them during your stay.

Notes on prices:
Monthly Rental from Nov - April 775 Sterling per month. The apartment will clean when you arrive with a plentiful supply of additional clean bedding and towels, but the cleaning of the apartment, and washing of laundry are down to you. We do have special rates with our laundry company which you can take advantage of.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.

I enjoy being able to just sit having a cup of coffee on the marina front and watching the yachts and people. I like way there are still old pine trees framing the edge of the marina. I can sit around the pool on my own sun lounger with my own sunshade, or wander through the gate to the beach and have a tapa in one of the beach bars and just watch the Med or play with my Grandchildren in the sea. Later in the afternoon I can sit on the terrace of "La Plaza" Brian's bar and sip a wine or two over looking the square. When evening comes I can dress up and be spoilt for choice as to which restaurant I eat in. Do I want Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Indian, French, international or some simple chips and egg. The choice is mine! Later the is always the discretely hidden night club to visit.

It is a pleasant area with chairs. On the other side of the property is a balcony overlooking the marina with reclining chairs and a table for alfresco dining. Utility Room: Washing machine is in the bathroom. The is an outside cupboard in the courtyard for storage of golf bags, surf boards etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Cleaning, linen and towels are included. The apartment is cleaned for arrival and towels and bedding are changed every 5 – 7 days. Beach towels are included. Other: In a quiet secluded patio area, with a small Spanish restaurant serving authentic Spanish meals and tapas, is the enclosed courtyard entrance to our apartment.
