About Louise

Andrew is a trained electrical engineer but has always had a true love of wood and Louise has an art background and has also spent the last 15 years Designing and organising weddings/ functions.

Louise purchased this cabin in 2006

Why Louise chose England

Newland Valley Log Cabins is a family run business providing a personal touch to your accommodation.

Originally built in 2006 we have spent the last 4 years fully building and furnishing our cabins ourselves, we love the piece full area which has been family owned since the hamlet of Newland was built early last century. Not wanting to follow in the family footsteps of farming we have created a family run business we can run from home and encapsulates our utmost interests.

What makes this cabin unique

A true experience in a relaxing setting, we hope you enjoy our small piece of the Cumbrian countryside.

A Wonderful Cabin

  • 5 of 5

I spent a fantastic week in Damson Cabin with my husband and 2 daughters. The cabin itself was unique and just perfect - spacious, immaculate, tastefully decorated (especially loved the luxurious bed linen and 3 types of pillows each). We most enjoyed sitting out on the patio for our breakfast and enjoying the beautiful view and tranquility.

There was a lovely welcome pack awaiting us including a very nice bottle of wine! Louise gave us a very warm welcome then allowed us our privacy but was always available if we needed anything.

Highly recommended and I can't wait for our next visit!
