Bay Watch House in St Ives - A Superb Large House Overlooking Porthmeor Beach And St Ives Town Centre Just A Few Minutes Walk Away.

Bay Watch House is our newest property to date. It is situated in the heart of St Ives overlooking the famous surfing beach of Porthmeor. The old town and the harbour are just a short walk away. The house was built in Edwardian times using local granite and slate and has recently been totally refurbished to a very high standard. Many original features remain. All the main reception rooms and the master bedroom have sea views of Porthmeor Beach taking in the Island, and the headland called “The Clodgy”. Comprises a lounge, dining room, kitchen, a further reception room with TV/bedroom 7, 3 double bedrooms (1 en-suite), 2 twin bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, 1 bathroom and 2 shower rooms. There is parking for 2 cars at the front and a courtyard with garden furniture at the back.

About the Owner

We are a small family business specialising in producing comfortable 'home from home' type holiday cottages in Cornwall, Devon and the Cotswolds. Each of our properties featured are owned and managed by ourselves. The benefit of this is that we know each property personally and this helps us provide a better service. Many of our guests return on a regular basis and some come by recommendation. If you are new to us you will find 'the team' to be efficient and helpful even to the extent of helping you to find the property that suits your holiday requirements best. It is important to us to provide a service of good quality and we are always happy to hear from our visitors with ideas or suggestions to help improve the service.

Booking Notes:
A deposit of a third of the full amount will be needed when the booking is made with the final balance due 6 weeks prior to the commencement date.

Generally short breaks are accepted from October – end of March but we will accept a short break booking in the high season, if we have availability close to the time.

Central heating, telephone (incoming calls only), BT Broadband (Wifi), bedlinen and house towels, electricity and heating is included in the price.

Changeover Day:
Saturday from April - end of September.

The arrival time is from 16.00 hrs and departure must be by 10.00 hrs.

Notes on prices:
Short break prices are calculated on a percentage basis, taking into account maximum occupancy e.g. 2 nights - 75%, 3 nights – 80% and 4 nights – 85% of the full weekly price and 5 – 7 nights will cost the full weekly price
Please note that the full price includes electricity, central heating, bed linen, towels and VAT.

Outside: There is a courtyard with garden furniture. Off road car parking for 2 cars. Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer and a large fridge/freezer. Towels / Linen: The beds will be made up and there will be a white bath sheet and bath towel per person. Please note you must take your own beach towels. Other: A large lounge with a feature fireplace which has been furnished in New England style with 2 large settees, 2 armchairs, a window seat, TV, DVD and music system. Well behaved Dogs are accepted at an additional cost of £30 per pet, per week or short break booking.
