About The Owner

My husband Noel and I have been married for many years, we have 3 grown up children and 3 grand children all of them live close to us in the Midlands.

We spent our honeymoon in Cornwall for that reason it holds a special place in our hearts.

The Owner purchased this cabin in 2010

Why The Owner chose Polperro

We have fond memories of holidaying in this beautiful part of the country and have done our best to make our holiday home as attractive and as comfortable as possible for our guests.

What makes this cabin unique

We want ones to enjoy it as much as we do and feel that because of the position of our lodge (away from the main body of the park but near all amenities) the opportunites are there for a fun packed family holiday or a secluded, peaceful (even romantic) break. Enjoy

Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a lovely holiday (it was our Silver Wedding anniversary 😄) and the children loved seeing places we went to on our honeymoon.

We would love to visit there again. I look forward to a return visit.

Stayed in this lodge 4 times now and have never been disappointed. The lodge is very homely and roomy and has everything away from home which you may need. It is situated In an ideal location with great views and great walks. Also has its own parking space which is big enough for our jet ski and car. Already planning our next stay.

Warm, comfy and well equipped

  • 5 of 5

First time in a lodge (we usually stay in caravans) but our visit to this property has spoiled us for anything else now. The lodge was very well equipped, spacious, comfortable and warm. After a week of cold Cornish drizzle and high winds, we really looked forward to returning to this cosy lodge every day.

Plenty of storage in the spacious main bedroom, and a TV too. The en-suite bathroom made life easier for our family group. Beds were comfy (mattress toppers on all beds), though my elderly mother found the narrow bed in one of the twin bedrooms rather difficult to manage in - but to be fair this is really unavoidable given the dimensions of the twin rooms, which are comparable to those you might find in a caravan. No problem for our children though.

The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the washing machine made life much easier after a couple of muddy walks!

Small, thoughtful extras really made all the difference - DVDs and video for adults and children, books, games and CDs.

Walk to the end of the resort towards the coast, and it's a short but steep walk of 15 or 20 minutes to Talland Bay in one direction, and a picturesque 20 - 25 minutes to Polperro along the coastal path in the other.

Sadly, the weather wasn't conducive to spending time on the decking, but in good weather, this is a great space with fine views towards the sea.

Safe to say, we will almost certainly be back!

Owner's Response: As always we are happy that ones enjoy our lodge and find it a joy to come back to each day. We have tried our best to make all the beds as comfortable as possible. It's true that in the third bedroom the beds are slightly smaller and more suitable for children. The middle room has standard single beds which suit adults and children alike. It will be a pleasure to have you return to the lodge in the future, hopefully to better weather.

Will go again and again!

  • 5 of 5

We've had so many lovely holidays here. The lodge is so warm and cosy, it's extremely well equipped with everything you need right there. The beds are so comfortable you wont want to leave them! It's a lovely park for families and there's loads of great places to visit close by too. We especially enjoy the Eden Project & the Lost Gardens of Heligan. The cliff walks are beautiful - especially in the snow! We've been here at least 5 times and will always love coming back.

Thank you!

Keith & Becky.
