Apartment Palmera is a spacious well-equipped Ground Floor apartment, one of a small block of 9 apartments situated around a shared pool (with toddler area). The large sandy beach, promenade and local restaurants are just a short stroll away and the nearby supermarket is less than a 5 minute walk

The apartment benefits from a state-of-the-art air con/heating system ensuring a comfortable temperature all year round. It has a contemporary kitchen with all-new appliances, two refurbished bathrooms (one with contemporary walk in shower installed 2015, basin and WC, the other, larger room with bath & shower over, basin, bidet and WC), three good-size bedrooms (one double, two twins) and a spacious lounge/dining room. The dining area has French windows opening onto a small balcony giving direct access to the pool and well-maintained communal gardens. The lounge has two large, comfortable sofas modern flat screen TV, DVD. iPod docking station as well as WiFi. There is a designated car parking space in the grounds of the apartment block.

The Apartment is situated in the peaceful area of Llenaire, popular with families of all age-groups and with walkers, cyclists, lovers of water sports, golfers and rock climbers all year round. There are a variety of water sports, including sailing, in the bay as well as boat trips to the nearby beach of Formentor and further afield. To explore further afield - including numerous quiet country roads near Llenaire, there are several cycle hire shops in the town. The nearby town of Alcudia has a great water park and there are two lovely golf courses a short drive away.

This is a great location for exploring the north of the island. Frequent buses call at the nearby bus stop on the seafront, with buses travelling one way towards the centre of Puerto Pollensa and in the other direction to the historic walled town of Alcudia and the picturesque Port De Alcudia and beyond.

We are a couple with a son aged 20. We love Puerto Pollensa and the surrounding area and we think it is a perfect location for a holiday to suit everyone. We have improved and upgraded our apartment every year including a new fitted kitchen with all new appliances (2013), a modern air conditioning/ heating system (2014) and new walk in shower (2015).

Well kept, clean and roomy apartment.

Ideal quiet position, with lovely swimming pool.

A beautiful walk into the resort with plenty of good quality restaurants.

If you want to stay close to the apartment, only 5 minutes walk to the beach and very nice beach bar.

If you enjoy walking or biking this resort is ideal and very classy.

Very pleasant apartment in peaceful area

A very enjoyable stay in a well appointed apartment in a peaceful area between Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia. The local restaurant which is a very short stroll away is very good and welcoming. The only downside, in my opinion, was the narrow gate into the car park which is tricky to negotiate, particularly in the dark. That being the case it didn't detract from our enjoyment of what is a most pleasant home from home which incorporates all the necessary home comforts.

Home from home.

A very well equipped and maintained apartment, in a peaceful location very close to beach. A good choice of restaurants within walking distance and the centre of Peurto Pollensa accessible but a slightly longer walk. Everywhere is really clean and people very friendly. We would definitely recommend the apartment and hope to return here again one day.

A true home away from home. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wendy & Jim's apartment is beautiful. A true 'home away from home'. The apartment is very modern with everything you would expect. The beds were comfy, the shower was excellent and the kitchen had everything a Jamie Oliver wannabe would need. My wife and I were in the apartment for 2 weeks with our 3 young children and it was perfect. The apartment has a bath which was great for the kids, a high chair, plastic plates & cups, dishwasher, washing machine and separate dryer along with plenty of entertainment to keep both old and young occupied (games, books, DVD's & tv).

The beach and 2 very good restaurants are only a 2 min stroll away with a small supermarket only 5 mins away.

Wendy shared all relevant information well in advance of our stay. It was extremely helpful and appreciated.

I would highly recommend the apartment and will definitely return :)

Excellent accommodation !

My husband & I found the instructions to find the apartment excellent (Thank you Wendy )

Everything went like clock work from booking to receiving details , including maps , to collecting the keys .

The apartment was everything we hoped for , very clean , well equipped , lovely welcome pack which was much

appreciated .

There was lots of information in the apartment with recommendations were to eat etc . Also a good supply of books for

the occasional rainy day !

Overall a very enjoyable holiday , hopefully we will return next year .

Great location, fab holiday

Fabulous apartment in a great location. Very close to the beach and a couple of lovely restaurants. About 10 minutes walk into the centre of Puerto Pollensa along the front. A little spar near by too for bread and croissants in the morning.

The apartment is spacious and very well equipped with a home from home feel about it. Great access straight onto the pool which was freezing at this time of year but the kids were still in it most days!

The lack of sea view was definitely made up for by the way the pool area was sheltered from the breeze, making it a little sun trap in the afternoon.

Wendy's instructions and information were very clear for getting us to the key pick up place and to the apartment.

Highly recommended for families.

We purchased our apartment six years ago after holidaying in Puerto Pollensa for several years. We love this area for its superb beaches, wide range of bars and restaurants, friendly, welcoming local people and spectacular mountain scenery nearby. It is an ideal family holiday location with plenty to do, including a range of water sports, great country lanes for cycling, lovely walks and an excellent bus service to local towns such as historic Pollensa and the old town of Alcudia.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Palma at 64 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Siurell at 0.1 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Llenaire at 200 Metres Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

There is a lovely, large sandy beachwith its own beach cafe just 2-3 minutes stroll from the apartment and a childrens' play area 5 minutes away

Supermarkets and restaurants:

2-3 minutes to the local bars/restaurants and a five minutes walk to the local mini-market (Spar). Further supermarkets, bars and restaurants, some with live music, just 10 minutes away.

A 15-20 minute walk takes you to the centre of the port passing the marina and many restaurants, shops and bars along the way.

Sports facilities:

The local area offers a wide range of sports including water sports (e.g swimming, sailing, pedalos) walking, hiking and mountain climbing, cycling routes, golf and tennis. Motor boats available for hire. Specialist water sports company on the main beach. Sailing and windsurfing tuition available. Alcudia has an excellent water park and adjacent mini-golf course (3x18 holes).

Travel:

Palma airport is approx 55 minutes by car. There are regular buses to Alcudia, Pollensa and beyond, with a bus stop 2 minutes from the apartment. A car is not essential but it could be useful if you want to explore the picturesque towns and villages, numerous beaches, spectacular mountains, history and ancient caves on the island.

Local places to visit

Old Pollensa approx 5km, Alcudia (port, beach, old town, Roman remains) approx 6km, Formentor beach approx 5km (or take a boat trip).

Note: The apartment is rented on the understanding it sleeps a maximum of 6 people. If it is found that the number exceeds 6 plus baby the management company will ask the group to leave.

Legal footnote: We offer only ordinary residential apartment rental under a Seasonal Rental Contract per the "LAU" Urban Tenancy Act (Ley de Arrendamientos Urbanos de 1994). No touristic services are available from us.

We chose our apartment because it is one of a small block (including a swimming pool) in a quiet residential area whilst being close to the beach, local shops and restaurants and just a short walk along the sea front to the marina and town centre. It is easy to get to other local towns such as the old town and port of Alcudia and the lovely historic town of Pollensa, with good public transport and a bus stop just 2 minutes from the apartment. We are delighted with the feedback we have had from guests. Many guests re-book because they have found our apartment is perfect to meet their needs. It is ideal for families with young children, older people with mobility problems or as a base for adult parties who enjoy cycling or walking holidays.

However, our Management Company have asked us to point out that in exceptional circumstances the apartment may not be ready until 4pm.
