Nestling in the historic village of Praa Sands 'Coth Sol' is situated a short distance from the beautiful surfing beach overlooking Mounts Bay. Praa Sands nine-hole Golf Course is less than a mile away. The beach is ideal for families and situated on the beach are cafes, shops and a pub. Wet suits, body-boards, surfboards and kayaks can be hired from the beach shop and surfing lessons can be booked. Praa Sands nine-hole golf course is less than a mile away. The towns of Penzance and Helston are only 7 miles away.

Fantastic bungalow everything you need and more

My family and dog have just spent a week here and it was a fantastic place to stay. Everything you'd need is provided and it's very clean and comfortable. The beach is very close. I'd highly recommend Coth Sol to anyone. Norma is a great lady who is very willing to make sure you have a great stay.

Well presented and close to the beach property

A family get together (6 adults, 2 year old child and 1 dog) was organised and this bungalow which was a stones throw from the beach AND a good beach bar fitted the bill to a T. Originally only advertised as a weeks stay we asked the question if we we could hire the bungalow for two nights over the bank holiday weekend at the beginning of May. The answer obviously came back that this was okay as the property was empty and we were able to have the use of the property from midday Saturday and until any time on Monday which was so good.

Internally very clean and tidy with one bedroom having a double bed and the other two bedrooms having single beds. Not sure if the singles could be pushed together in one of the rooms but this was not possible in the third bedroom. A lovely cot with clean linen was supplied by the very helpful owners which was ideal as it saved us transporting one in the car!

To the rear of the property is an enclosed decking area with gas barbicue (not used by us). This area was ideal for the dog to roam and for the 2 year old child to play safely.

We have stayed in other places in Cornwall and would say this was one of the better ones!

Thank you for a good long weekend and if we are looking to be in the area again we would certainly look at contacting the owners again! Xx

Lovely stay

Lovely relaxing stay. Coth Sol is in a fantastic location for the beach. , the bungalow was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Norma popped in to check everything was ok which it was-very reassuring not intrusive.

Lovely Break

Lovely relaxing stay, close to the beach, off road parking. Bungalow very spacious, clean and well maintained and looked after. Like home from home, everything you need. Local fish and chips and pub food excellent though little expensive. Chinese restaurant very good for 'all you can eat buffet'. Suitable for families. Would definitely recommend and would definitely visit again.

From Penzance you can go to the Scilly Isles by the 'Scillonian' boat or helicopter. Nearest airport is in Newquay. Car is recommended.

Dogs are banned from Praa Sands Beach from Easter Day to 1st October between the hours of 7am and 7pm.
We do not allow pets to be left in the property unattended at any time unless a pet cage is provided.
