Villa in Sedella, Costa del Sol (Inland), Spain - Peaceful Rural Location

Sleeps 4 (1 double and 1 Twin) with private pool (available May to October). 3rd bedroom (double) in self contained annex at extra cost of £20 a day(min stay 7 days), which will not be occupied if you only rent the villa. With stunning views to the mountains and the sea. Set in a rural location in attractive grounds of over 2000 sqm with olive and fruit trees and many flowers. Casa Brisa sits high in the Sierra Tejeda in the Andalucian Mountain Range. The beautiful views of steep mountains giving way to the Mediterranean Coast 45 minutes drive away. Outside there is the pool with outside shower, large patio area and roof terrace. If you get fed up with the view you can always watch the TV (Main UK channels available via internet) in the lounge.

we stayed here for 2 weeks from 26th july, was idylic, there was nothing we were short of, everything was just as we would have chosen, even the cd`s were to our taste!the only negative was the mountain road up to the villa, omg, not for the faint-hearted, but maybe im too old for these roads???? a special mention to the agent/friend, ken, he`s brill, cant praise him enough, was there when needed, and had a few beers, and he fed us too, and what an interesting guy, anything you want to know, just ask ken, a real mate! diamond geeger!

Special interest holidays:

Great area for walking in the Andalucian hills during the cooler months.

Riding Stable near Competa (30mins Drive), Malaga Old Town is well worth a day trip including the Cathedral and Picasso Museum. Granada is approx two hours drive. If you wish to visit the Alhambra you have to book up in advance.


Torre del Mar 45 mins drive. Nerja 1 hour drive with caves, lovely coves and other discoveries. Malaga is a wonderful old city to explore and discover within about 1 hours drive, or catch the bus from Torre de Mar.


Malaga Airport 90 mins drive. Car is essential.


Canillas de Aceituno is 15 mins drive with banks large selection of shops, restaurants, bars. Market day is Friday. Competa is 30 mins drive with many attractive individual shops with a large English community.

Further Details:

There is a hotel called La Casa Pinta with swimming pool and restaurant. There is Lorena Bar serving good tapas, the Piano Bar restaurant (better known as Rafas) open in the summer season and Bar Chiringuito a popular local bar serving tapas and menu Del dia. The Plaza Bar is very popular and people say it serves the best tapas in the whole region. Shops: There are two local shops which are of the 'open all hours' type. They sell a wide variety of goods but generally have a limited range. The main supermarkets are in Velez-Malaga and Torre de Mar and there is a El Ingenio Commercial Centre with hypermarket between the two.

  • Notes on accommodation: Electric heating is available for the cooler months and there are log burners in the living room and in the Annex. Outside: The pool is private and measures 3x7m approx. with access steps. N.B. children must be supervised as the pool is not gated. There is a gas barbecue for guest use. Various sun loungers and folding chairs. Two dining tables are provided with seating for six to eight. There are amazing 360 degree views are available from the roof terrace. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. The property is cleaned between lets. Beach towels not included.
