Apartment in Les Arcs 1950, Savoie, France - Perfect Location for Ski in/Ski out, No Long Walks to the Ski Lifts!

This lovely two bedroom classic apartment is a perfect winter escape for a family of 4/6 or couples. We bought it for our own use and is maintained to a high standard. It is fully self catered with a well equipped kitchenette and guests have access to a fully serviced reception, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, fitness centre and underground car park. The village is pedestrian friendly with a strict no car policy. Les Arc 1950 is a lovely village with great restaurants and bars within walking distance. It has a really good children's club called The Caribou which offers child care should you wish to ski independently. Alternatively they offer ski school for children age 3 years old and upwards. The apartment itself offers everything on your doorstep. It is literally Ski in/ski out to your backdoor. The skiing region offers 425km of phenomenal skiing. Enjoy!

Utility Room: There are also two very conveniently located lockers for your skis and snowboards, boots etc just near the door to exit on to the slopes. It doesn't get much easier. But you will have to put the boots and skis on yourself! Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included and are changed weekly by the maid service.

Три года подряд мы отдыхаем зимой в Лез-Арк 1950. Это прекрасная современная деревня в горах, где можно прямо с отеля ехать кататься на лыжах. В этом году мы с мужем и сыном сняли прекрасные апартаменты.Светлые ,уютные с кухней.Мы ездим на две недели и поэтому апартаменты очень удобно-ты как будто приезжаешь к себе домой. У нас была одна просьба к хозяину апартаментов. Мы вечером написали просьбу,уже утром она была решена. Мы рекомендуем эти апартаменты и следующей зимой обязательно попытаемся забронировать и опять. Спасибо

Best resort in Les Arcs

Some say Les Arcs is characterless as a resort!

But then I bet they never stayed at Arc 1950?

Purpose built by a Canadian company just over 10 years ago, it is the jewel of the mountain. With real ski in / ski out, the charm of the best French ski resorts and a true family orientated resort.

The apartment is in the Hammeau du Glacier on the 4th floor. It is well located and equipped with everything needed for a weeks self catering. The two bedrooms are ideally suited to 4 adults or 2 adults and two children if you want! There is a pull out sofa bed in the lounge if required but in my experience this does complicate things a little!

As a group of three friends travelling / staying together on a weeks ski vacation it was just the ticket. We utilised all the rooms as bedrooms which gave us enough space to really enjoy our stay!

The owner is a very nice guy and is available to answer any questions about the apartment or the resort.

This is one of the better places I've stayed over then years and as such this was my second visit to this apartment and won't be my last!

So stop searching, get booking and enjoy a fantastic holiday in one of the best locations in the alps!

Great resort, wonderful skiing and a lovely apartm

Les Arc 1950 is an amazing resort and this apartment has everything you could possibly want within very easy reach. The proximity of the hire shop, the ski schools, the lift pass office and access to the lifts, has to make it one of the most family friendly places we've ever had the pleasure to ski.

In addition to this, the apartment is very comfortable and well equipped as well as having a great view up the mountain. The ability to genuinely ski in / ski out is great and whether you ski the Peissy Vallandry or the whole Paradiski, the ski area is fantastic with a multitude of pistes to suit all abilities. The 7km run from Aiguille Rouge to Villaroger is a particular favourite...!

We will certainly be heading back to Les Arc 1950 and I cannot recommend both Les Arc 1950 and this apartment highly enough. It was a thoroughly enjoyable week and one we will look to repeat.

Well located, cosy clean apartment in great resort

Great cosy apartment in the fantastic resort of Arc1950. Easy access to slopes with ski in ski out and two ski lockers. Apartment was brilliantly clean and well located with access to the indoor pool and also outdoor pool and hot tub. Booking was easy and all contact with owner efficient and friendly. Check in no problems s reception staff helpful. We love Arc 1950 for ease of access to Paridiski region and great shops/restaurants on doorstep. Perfect for family skiing. We have stayed at Pierre Vacances and Radisson at same resort and preferred this apartment. Brilliant Christmas!

Perfect Apartment great location

Perfect apartment in a great location. Ski in and Ski out from the back door makes this an ideal place to explore the Paradiski ski area which now includes a link to La Plagne.

A few good restaurants in the Village, which is fairly quiet, and car free. Use of the Spa is also included.

Location

Travel:

Geneva is 2hr 30m by car or why not fly in by helicopter! Lyon is about 2hr 30m and Grenoble and Chambery about 1hr 30m. You could also get the Overnight Eurostar from Waterloo to Bourg St Maurice then the funiculaire and bus directly to Les Arc 1950.

Changeover day is Saturday. The apartment must be vacated by 10 in order for the cleaning and linen to be changed. Earliest check in time is at 16:00 hrs unless previously agreed.
