This is a charming traditional Spanish apartment perfectly located within the fisherman's quarter of Conil. A few minutes from the beach and town and ideally suited for families, couples or friends. The accommodation itself offers comfort and all you need for a relaxing holiday in the popular town of Conil and the province of the historical and fascinating Cadiz. Whether you are looking for a beach holiday or a base to explore, you're well placed in Conil. The large sunny roof terrace overlooks the beach and is perfect for relaxing in the evening sun.There is a new shaded area for cover during the hottest parts of the day. One of the key features is the apartment's location, just 3 minutes walk from the beach and the historical town with bars, restaurants, boutiques and surf shops. The apartment is set back from the main street in a quiet location and has 2 bedrooms, lounge with sofa bed, separate dining area, new bathroom (2012)and kitchen.

Perfect location with an amazing roof terrace

We have stopped twice at the apartment (no, we don't know the owner!). It really is in a perfect location, just 100 metres from the beach, and just minutes away from shops and restaurants. The roof terrace is fantastic, with sunbeds, dining facilities and shade from the canopy. The lounge and bedrooms are fine and the bathroom is more than adequate. The steps to the terrace are steep so it's not suitable for anyone with impaired mobility and young children would need to be supervised.

The property was clean and well maintained and although the kitchen facilities are fairly basic, the oven and hob enable you to eat in, with the pleasure of eating your dinner on the terrace against the backdrop of the sun setting!

The owner provides superb service with a genuine interest in ensuring you having a great holiday.

We have hired a car on both occasions and trips to Vejer, Arcos, Cadiz and Jerez are recommended - we also did an overnight stay in Ronda, which is just over 2 hours' drive away.

There are many good restaurants - our favourite was in Vejer - El Jardin del Califa - perfect food at a good price.

We would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

A lovely place in Conil wIth a great roof terrace

I had a great week here in late September ('14) with my Mum. The bedrooms are fine and there's a cosy sitting room and a handy little kitchen, but the great delight of this apartment is the amazing roof terrace upstairs. It's huge, has a lovely view of the beach and gets the sea-breeze – and when we weren't on Conil's wonderful,incredibly long beach, we really liked having lunch/drinks/supper up there. Conil is a nice town, with some lively restaurants. This apartment is quiet though and a short walk from both the centre and the beach. And the owner Helen was really great to deal with. I'd thoroughly recommend this apartment and look forward to going again. James

holiday in conil

We have stayed in conil several times as it is a vibrant town with an abundance of good restaurants and fantastic beach. Helen's apartment is conveniently situated in the town only a few minutes from all facilities and beach in fact the roof terrace overlooks the sea. Apartment is well appointed and comfortable.

Conil apartment

Fabulous roof terrace. Modest but comfortable apartment in excellent central location. Parking outside not possible (other than to unload luggage, shopping etc) but ample parking available beside the beach a genuine 5 minute walk. Very close to excellent cafes and bars. Authentic Spanish town house with lovely views to the sea from the roof terrace. Kitchen functional but could do with an update.

Conil has over 14 km of beautiful wide sandy beaches with some wonderful walks. You can be on Playa Los Bateles within three minutes (walking).

Other popular beaches nearby include El Palmar (4 miles), La Barrosa (14 miles), Tarifa (41 miles).

Conil has a number of large supermarkets, SuperSol just a 7 minute walk away.

Closer to home there are numerous mini-markets within a few hundred metres for all your holiday essentials. There is a shop next door to the apartment selling some basic food items and another mini market 30 seconds walk with a larger range of goods (milk, bread, wine etc) and a deli counter.   • Notes on accommodation: Sorry but I don't take group bookings for under 25's. There is a hairdryer for guest use. You are welcome to use the beach chairs and parasol. Outside: The apartment includes a renovated, spacious roof terrace (60 sq.metres) overlooking the beach with two sun loungers. There is a Morrocan style bench ideal for breakfast or early evening tapas and fino in the sun with new pergola and large shade for cover. There is also a dining table and chairs for terrace dining and parasol cover. Beach chairs and parasols are available to take out to the beach. During Easter the Semana Santa procession follows a route passing the street below providing a perfect spot to observe the parade. Additionally there is a small terrace outside the front door with cafe table and chairs for four. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath towels and linen included. Cleaning included in rentals over 7 nights. The property is cleaned before and after guest departure. A laundry charge will be incurred for additional towels/linen used. Other: There is a separate dining room with table (seats four) and a small terrace area outside the front door with cafe table and chairs.
