Villa near Altea / La Nucia, Costa Blanca North, Spain - Tranquil Country Location But Only 3 Miles To Beach

Less than 3 miles from the coast and the picturesque harbour town of Altea with its delightful mix of artisan and modern architecture, restaurants, shops, cultural centres and stunning views overlooking the sea from Calpe to Albir from the famous blue domed Iglesias. From Altea the villa is approached via the scenic road to La Nucia in the lush fertile Algar valley with its splendid panoramic mountain views, then turn right into the orange, lemon and nispero groves, where the villa sits on top of and cut into a small hillock in this delightful and very private location, where it is surrounded by fields of almond trees and a pine forest which falls to the River Algar below. Set in beautiful mature grounds of three thousand square metres. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity broken only by the songs of the birds as they cavort amongst the mature gardens. The very private villa is on the upper ground level with its own private entrance, terraces and pool.

About The Owner

I have lived in Spain for over 20 years with my husband and daughter, most of that time as a business owner in the beauty profession.

Originally I am from Cornwall but worked in London, then nurse training in Gloucester, and then many years nursing in Cornwall.

We moved to Spain for the wonderful climate and excellent way of life.

The Owner purchased this villa in 1999

Why The Owner chose La Marina Baja

We bought our house from an ex-professional Everton footballer, Wally Tolen, who had looked for the perfect spot to have his dream home. On a small hillock in a valley with mountains all around. A very tranquil area but very close to all the amenities of the Costa Blanca.

He called this house Casa Notre´ve (The house of our dreams) spelt Everton backwards.

We saw the same qualities, a unique house in the country with space all around yet within 5 minutes drive to the sea.

What makes this villa unique

The property has all the advantages of pure tranquility,

Clean country air, wonderful views yet only 2 miles to the local town and just over 3 miles to the Beach.

Benidorm is 10 minutes away.

Booking Notes:
Change-over day will normally be on Saturday, however many people prefer a midweek booking and depending on booking commitment we will be as flexible as we possibly can.
25% non-refundable deposit to be paid to secure booking and the rest 4 weeks before the start of the holiday.
A 200Euro security/damage will be required on arrival which will be returned within 2weeks if there is no damage or excessive use electricity or water.
Check out time will be 11.00am and check in 3.00pm.

Changeover Day:
Change-over day will normally be on Saturday, however we will be as flexible as we can depending on subsequent booking commitment.
Check out will be 11.00 am and check in at 3.00pm.

Notes on prices:
For longer periods in multiples of 7 days a 10% discount will be given.
For complete month rental a 20% discount will be given.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
