The beautiful River Soca is a moment away from Floranneve. Chalet Floranneve has been recently been lovingly restored. Located in the centre of Bovec, the chalet is close to everything: ski shuttle bus, all activity centres and organisers, tourist offices, banks, shops and restaurants etc. Floranneve looks small from the outside but is huge inside!... our friends and guests tell us it is like ' the 'Doctor Who tardis!
This partner has demonstrated and is committed to fast response times, the best rates, and a great guest experience.
Much to my childrens amusement I now have my free London bus pass! I am married with three children and have lived and worked in London for the last 38 years. My family and I love adventure and so living in the city gives us a big incentive to get out and enjoy the wonderful places the world has to offer, I fell in love with Bovec whilst riding my motorcycle back to London from Dubrovnik in 2006. It was immediately obvious after only being in Bovec and the Soca valley for a day, it was a very special and secret place with warm friendly people. I bought a house here 3 months later in the centre of town. I spent a couple of long years renovating it and now I come here regularly with my wife and three children.
Charles Ram purchased this house in 2006
Bovec is the one of the most special towns in Slovenia... it has the magnificent river Soca running through the valley and ...
If you haven't been to Bovec before here is a small list of things we do when we come here ...
Rafting,
Kayaking,
Canyoning,
Walking,
Cycling and
Exploring the first world trench lines
The Soca Valley is not only an activity region, it is also a wonderful place to relax. The pebble 'beaches' along the banks of the river Soca make perfect spots for family picnics and lazy days. Painters and Botanists love Bovec as well: it's breathtaking scenery and stunning mountain and valley flora attracts both the relaxed and adventurous explorer. ... and more importantly, there is some great local food and fine regional wines to enjoy.
Situated in the a quiet area in the centre of Bovec, Floranneve is indeed a different house from most. It has a large and spacious master bedroom with a conservatory style balcony, which is great for Mums and Dads or couples who enjoy their quite time together. ...
The house also has 2 large 3 - 4 metre panoramic windows on the first and second floors .... this is also different from any other house in Bovec ... open these windows and you can almost feel like you are outside in the fresh air! ... These large double glazed windows make the house beautifully light and airy. Floranneve is a house that will lift your spirit!
The sitting room is over 40 square metres, so there is lots of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves.

Hello! I have to tell you that you can't imagine what pleasantly surprised we have when we came to Floranneve. a house is really perfect and we have very nice time in it. and Dragan was really nice host and he was all the time at our service. Everything was so magic! Again, thanks a lot for everything and congratulations for the way you arrange the house. it is really beautiful and comfortable. If we would have a chance we will gladly come again! All the best in New Year. Alenka, Croatia (Guest Staying 30/12/2010).
The house worked well for 2 families. It was quiet yet central. It was well equipped.
Our two families stayed in this beautifully restored chalet which has 3 floors, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. A delight! Location was good and parking was available. The kitchen was well equipped. The living space was very comfortable and the whole design offered a welcoming ambience. We would go again which is the best recommendation we can give. The only problem was the mattress in the second double bedroom which we found very uncomfortable. Slovenia is such a beautiful country. There were some amazingly picturesque walks, waterfalls, and history for those who are interested. Plenty of water sports available and rivers to bathe and swim in. All Slovenians seem to be able to speak English fluently and are such kind and considerate people. You can drive to the capital, to the coast, to Italy and to Austria all within 2 hours - what more can you ask for from a location - something for everyone! Try it..... you won't regret it!
The house is located within a couple of minutes walk of the lovely town of Bovec with its numerous restaurants, bars and shops. Easy access to the surrounding beautiful countryside, and as we are keen kayakers the stunning Soca river is only minutes away by car.
The accommodation is sited in a small, quiet cul de sac off the main High Street with off road parking. The house comprises of 4 spacious double bedrooms over 3 floors with 3 bathrooms / shower rooms, huge lounge/ dining area, fully fitted out kitchen (with dishwasher, microwave, oven, grill, hob, fridge/freezer, crockery and pans galore) and vital for skiers / kayakers - a drying room for the kit.
The layout was ideal for our party - myself, wife and teenage son (19) and 2 kayaking friends - there was sufficient room for everyone to have their own space if they wanted it, but equally designed to be a social place at meal times. Our favourite room was the lounge, with its leather settees and arm chairs, rustic dining table and the fabulous window sill you could sit on with the huge windows open taking in the late afternoon sun.
Decor is light & modern and the property immaculately presented, providing you with all the creature comforts of your own home. It felt like you had just moved into some elses' home rather than a bland, soulless holiday let.
The property owner who lives in the UK could not have been more helpful running up to our holiday, the local property manager Dragan (and his family) were always on hand if you ever needed help or local advice and the neighbours were very friendly - so much so that we were invited to a birthday party whilst we were there !
If you like the outdoors then Bovec is definitely a place to visit. We went paragliding whilst we were there and there are numerous other adventurous activities to take part in including cycle hire, all bookable from the town centre. The walking is simply stunning with an abundance of waterfalls to explore.
So as the 5 of us flew back out of Ljubljana airport bidding temporary farewell to a lovely part of the world, the question was "would we return to this property - the resounding answer was "YES" most definitely.
Situated around 500mtrs from the centre of Bovec this comfortable , modern and very well maintained chalet offered 1st class family accomodation which is accessible to more and varied activities for the family, than you could possibly fulfill in one visit
A great week in a really well equipped house. We really enjoyed the fact that there was loads of space over 5 floors and so as a family of five there was lots of space for everyone. Bovec is a wonderful place for outdoor activites and we did lots of things with local companies (canyoning and white water rafting being the highlight) but also enjoyed lots of walks on the well signposted footpaths around the village. Charlie couldn't have been more helpful when it came to sorting out the holiday and the chat we had before leaving th UK was really useful. The infomation in the house is also excellent and I'd recommend Floranneve most highly!
