Perfectly located on the slopes of Le Grand Bornand/Chinaillon. The property is truly ski-in/ski-out, immediately above the principal lift of the area and ski school meeting point. Comprising of open plan lounge with under floor heating, flat screen TV and 7 speaker hi-fi surround sound, satellite TV, fully fitted kitchen with all appliances and dining area.

One twin room has an additional sofa bed if needed, allowing the total of 12 guests. 5 bath/shower rooms. Ample private parking plus garage space. About the Owner

Having visited this location 20 years ago skiing, I rediscovered the village while driving through on a classic car rally in mid summer; and rediscovered the delights of the whole region.

It, for me, blends the best in value for good food and wine, summer & winter activities and a sense of local community.

Having skied all over Europe for 30 years we finally decided on Chinaillon as the most idyllic spot and decided to make this our second home.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Geneva at 50 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : many at 0.5 Kilometres Nearest Golf : Le Grand Bornand at 6 Kilometres Nearest Train : annecy at 33 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : a40 Autoroute Blanche at 20 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : many at 0.5 Kilometres Car: not necessary

Special interest holidays:

Ideal location for cycling, classic car touring, motorbike touring.

Travel:

Nearest airport Geneva, just 1 hour drive away, served well by the A40 motorway, or 30 minutes from the historic town of Annecy.

Use of a car is recommended but not essential, as a taxi service can be arranged to the village from the airport as well as a regular ski bus from the terminal to the resort.

The shops, restaurants, bars and amenities of the village are just a 4 minute walk from the chalet.

Distances:

Located ideally during the summer months for walking, climbing, cycling, riding, tennis, paragliding, canoeing etc. Ski lifts are opened for mountain bikes also. The historic city of Annecy, nestled alongside it's famous lake, is just a 30 minute drive from the chalet. The Tour De France has passed through the village as one of the high points and the property has excellent views of the area for this.

Further Details:

Perfectly located on the slopes of Chinaillon. The property is truly ski-in, ski-out, immediately above the principal lift of the area and ski school meeting point.

Guests of the chalet enjoy a rental discount on equipment from the local ski rental shop.
