About the Owner

We love Newquay as a town, for it's incredible beaches and for it's location within Cornwall for exploring the county. We chose this house specifically for it's location within Newquay. We have a family and wanted something where we could walk to the beach and town, whilst being out of sight and sound from the hussle and bussle of the vibrant night life. It really is everything we could have wanted. We love to surf, walk, shop, fish and BBQ. Driftwood has it all.

Very clean and well maintained. Well equipped and comfortable beds. Great for surfers. Quite residential road yet only a few minutes walk from the beach. Tesco express around the corner. Restaurants a few minutes walk away too. Great stay. Would highly recommend

Clean, maintained family home, great location

Many thanks from the whole family for a brilliant holiday in Newquay. Driftwood was perfect for our base and was everything we expected from your description on the website.

Even though the weather let us down a little, the family had plenty to see and do in Newquay and the surrounding areas. It was very different from our one and only visit to Newquay about 40 years ago and still has its charm and beautiful coastline which we were able to see more of on this holiday. We are sure our grandchildren will fondly remember this holiday for many years to come.

Driftwood

This is our 2nd stay at ' Driftwood ' Newquay , the 3 bed house is perfect for couple's/families and has everything you need for the perfect holiday. It is situated close to the beach and shops and there is a Tesco Express 2 mins away for all your shopping. If you stay in Newquay you can walk to all of the beaches and is handy for surfing, the zoo is in walking distance and all the local shops and pubs ( the griffin serve excellent food ). There are loads of sightseeing places to visit and at the end of the day you can relax in the house in comfort to plan your next day, we would thoroughly recommend staying here and are planning our 3rd visit :-)

Fantastic

I really enjoyed my stay in Driftwood. Tastefully decorated, light, fresh, well maintained and lovely and clean. Facility to park car on front, a bonus. Clos to beach and town. Enjoyed meals & drinks in The Red Lion, The Dolphin restaurant, amongst others, plus local cream teas.

I enjoyed visiting the local zoo plus other attractions in the area. Will certainly visit again and thoroughly recommend.

It's so close to everything you could want in Newquay, so you can walk pretty much anywhere. Newquay caters for everyone, young to elderly and active to relaxing. Beaches, bars, shops, scenery, countryside. It's all here.
