Apartment in West Bay, Nr. Bridport, Dorset, England - Beach Side Location

Two bedroom apartment located in a 2 storey block accessed by an external spiral staircase. Kitchen, newly fitted shower room, lounge balcony. two bedrooms both with access to a balcony bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed and bedroom 2 has twin beds . No linen is supplied although duvets and pillows are! Balcony faces west so ideal for that evening glass of wine viewing the sunset looking out to sea .Communal gardens overlooking the beach. West Bay Golf Course within 2 miles. Electricity is supplied by a coin meter so remember to take a supply of £1 coins. No pets allowed sorry

We just loved everything. Apartment was great. Views amazing. We were really sad to leave.

Poor condition. Cigarettes smell, pets have stayed

Sea view from bedroom & comfortable bed. Otherwise in great need of refurbishment. Quilts very used and some stains. Suite has greasy head marks and smells of cigarettes. Dogs have stayed - see visitors book.

Very noisy parties in neighbouring flat until early hours. Cutlery & crockery dirty. Single beds with uncomfortable spring coming up. Very disappointed

Owner's Response: Very sad that you didnt enjoy your stay at our holiday home we were there the previous wekk and during that time did a deep clean including the suite and carpets . All the crockery and cutlery was washed and dried .Nobody as far as I'm aware has ever smoked in the apartment and it certainly didnt smell of smoke when we left! I would agree that the furniture is not modern but it is clean and comfortable and was decorated throughout in qpril this year. The shower room was recently completely refurbished. As to the dog it was my sons and its bed in always in his pickup! I'm really sorry that our home failed to please

Good location and the area around was kept neat and tidy.

A minor problem with the king size bed. Had to climb over it to get into it as it was wall to wall in size.

Car: recommended


Located on a pebble beach with sand at low tide. Famous Jurassic Coastal footpath runs in front of the property.


Easy walk into West Bay. Bridport also accessible by river, a leisurely walk will take 30 minutes. Buses run regularly from West Bay into Bridport and along the coast to Lyme Regis and Weymouth. From the harbour in West Bay you can get a ferry to Lyme Regis. Fishing trips are also available from the harbour. Try rowing a boat up the river to Bridport.

Further Details:

There is a public swimming pool in West Bay as well as 2 small grocery stores and lots of restaurants, take aways, pubs and shops. Larger supermarkets and shops available in Bridport. Bridport has a market on Wednesday and Saturday. Ideally positioned for touring. Lots of local tourist attractions.
