About the Owner
We are a couple who live in England and run a small family business which operates seven days a week,so when it came to choosing a holiday home it was very important we picked a location that would be ideal to recharge the batteries and proudly share it with family & friends.
When visiting an ex pat in the Algarve ten years ago we fell in love with the area and after several holidays in the Algarve on a day trip to Lagos we decided we had found our ideal bolt hole.
With several beaches,historic old town with cobbled streets and hundred plus restaurants/bars,nearby golf courses,marina also with bars/restaurants whilst still retaining it`s "Portugese" charm & character their fore it was a no brainier for us and we had put a deposit on this apartment off plan by the end of our holiday.

We had a lovely holiday in this fab apartment.Clean, spacious and very comfortable in an excellent location. So easy to walk to the centre and to the beach. Supermarket right next door as well. Pool area was always quiet, the whole are was quiet in fact. Was great to get fresh linen and towels during our stay as well. Owner was very accommodating and the meet and greet guy was very thorough and helpful. Cafe Fresco does excellent food and was great for breakfast and lunches.Can thoroughly recommend a stay in this apartment.
Great to have only a short walk to the Marina/Restaurants.
Having the supermarket so close was a real bonus.

we were hugely impressed with the apartment,it was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need for a stress free self catering holiday. the location itself was perfect a three minute walk to the marina where we booked a trip to see the dolphins 60 miles out to sea it was an unbelievable experience also the grotto caves were amazing . the main centre of the town is a five to ten minute walk but easy to find the complex itself had the indoor pool which was great for my austic sons as the outdoor pool was sometimes a bit crowded, the gym was also fine as well. slyvester the manager couldnt be more helpful and the owner blue [ bhupendra ] was a pleasure to deal with even allowing us to check out late as we had a nightime flight . i would recommend this property to everyone i will definitely return to lagos again and would happily return to this apartment each time .
Another great stay in the apartment. Everything always clean neat and tidy and nicely decorated. The apartment is in a great location for the town, beach, marina and supermarkets - no need to hire a car unless you want to go touring around as everything is within a (max) 10 minute walk. Within the complex the pools are small but clean, the gym is good (but could do with air conditioning!) and the food at Fresco's is great and very reasonably priced.

“We love the fact that you can fly to Faro on a daily basis from nearly all British major airports with a flight time of just over two hours and with a motorway link to Lagos adding only 45 minutes to your journey we could be holidaying in under six hours from leaving our home in the U.K. The apartment is situated in a quite spot with the bonus of short walking distance from the old town/beaches/marina and bus station. We love this area because it has something for every one from golf courses, historic buildings/churches. vineyards. windsurfing, motor racing/cycling track. beaches.water parkes, zoo, pottery factories,cork farms,whale spotting/cave trips and much more.... not to mention that dining out is a joy in this area with hundreds of excellent restaurants to suit all pallets.”
Activity and Interests
Lagos does have its own laidback beach life, bubbling nicely around the stretch of sand known as Meia Praia which is 5kms long and also walking distance from the apartment (about fifteen minutes) or you could take the Onda which will get you there in 5. The beach has everything the active beach-goer might want - para-gliding; wind-surfing; water skiing;etc or just a walk by the water's edge along beach where you’ll find a range of cafes and restaurants.For more beaches log onto www.lagos.me.uk .
The nearest airport is Faro, which is served by many airlines from most European countries. Faro airport is about 90km from Lagos, and the new A22 motorway will get you to the apartment in approximately 50 minutes and will cost around 85 euros. Taxis, car hire and direct buses to Lagos are available at the airport or you can use the services of our local Agent who will provide personal transfers to and from the apartment directly to the Airport at a discounted rate.
The Old Town is a 10 minute stroll from the apartment, along the riverside and has much to offer all ages - from the colourful Carousel in the Square to the endless dining options along the old streets. Step back to the 17th century at the impressive, moated Fortress of Ponta da Bandeira. Marvel at the ornate interior of the Santo Antonio church. And check out the fascinating collection of artefacts at the little Municipal Museum - which include a scale model of a typical Algarvian village.
As for shopping, there are plenty of places to pick up an interesting souvenir or two, as well as a bustling market on the first Saturday of each month. In the evening, life revolves around the Praca Gil Eanes, a busy square with a huge statue of military adventurer Dom Sebastiao at its centre. If you prefer to be by the sea then the Marina, with it's bars and restaurants is only five minutes walk from the apartment. Here too you can embark on a cruise of the coast; try some deep-sea fishing or learn to sail while on holiday.
There is a selection of large supermarkets near to the apartment, as well as a range of small independent stores selling fresh food and drink.
The apartment is within Quinta das Palmeiras complex which is easily accessible by car, but most guests choose to walk to many of the nearby attractions.
Our local agent who is from Lagos will be at the apartment to meet & greet you and explain how everything in the apartment works - air conditioning; garage access; electrical appliances etc and will be available to assist you during your stay. He can also provide airport transfer and welcome packs at a discounted rate, payment for which have to be made directly to him.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is payable on booking to secure your reservation. The balance is due 6 weeks before the holiday start date. A refundable security deposit of £200 is requested with the final holiday payment - this is refunded immediately following confirmation that all is OK by our local Agent following check-out. Bookings where all members of the party are under 25 are not accepted. Our agent also offers hire of cots, high chairs which have to be requested in advance.
Changeover day is Saturday but we will try and be flexible to suit requirements.
Generally the apartment will be ready for booking in by 12.00 and vacated by 10.00 but remain flexible and must be finalized with our local agent to suit your requirements.

Our representative will meet and greet you at the apartment to show you around and will be contactable throughout your stay, should you require any assistance. The master bedroom leads to a private terrace, has extensive storage with fitted wardrobes and drawer units. Bedrooms two and three also have extensive storage space with fitted wardrobes and drawer units. Outside: There is a large shared outdoor swimming pool with a separate children’s paddle pool, indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, gym, well maintained garden & patio areas with benches, sun loungers. These areas are security gated for access ensuring secure environment for residents,guests and children. There is a bistro/cafe, hair saloon and shops on the ground floor. Four lifts service the upper floors. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Egyptian cotton towels and bed linen are included. The apartment is cleaned weekly including a linen change. Towel changes are every four days any additional cleaning/towel/linen changes can be arranged locally at your own cost. Beach towels not included.
