Town House at Christos in Skopelos town is situated in a quiet location in the oldest part of this Greek Island town. Spacious, elegant and relaxed, there are beautiful views from each of the three floors to the sea and Islands beyond. Town House at Christos is recently renovated. Loving care has been taken to retain its original character whilst providing comfortable modern living. All of the rooms are generous, light and airy. The top floor is an open plan living space with a modern Kitchen. A large balcony from the first floor bedroom, perfect for an evening glass of wine with stunning views. Skopelos port is only a few minutes away, with its many restaurants, cafe's and craft shops. Two evening terrace bars are also only a five minutes walk away from the townhouse, these have amazing views to other Greek Islands of the Aegean.

About Tom Crew

Hello, we're Tom and Suzanne and we bought our Townhouse at Christos after a long adventure travelling through France, Italy, Croatia and other parts of Greece. With a love of islands, green hills and Venetian architecture, Skopelos was the perfect place for us to create a new home from home. We now have two additions to the family - Tallulah, now six years old, and baby Jo who'll be three in June.

Why Tom Crew chose Thessaly

We bought the House at Christos in a derelict state 13 years ago. It used to be an old shop, hence the two front doors! Years of loving care and renovation have introduced us to the skills and crafts of local people and helped us to understand and appreciate even more what a fantastic place this is.

Whilst renovating the house we were keen to make the most of its unique lofty living spaces and sweeping views, always erring on the side of generous comfortable rooms that help you to unwind and be inspired by the day to day life available to you when you're living here.

The great thing about having a house in the old town is its fantastic combination of its easy access to enjoy the many shops and cafes, with the peace and quite of living in a traffic free street.

What makes this house unique

We love being able to explore the island by day, then relax at night with a choice of places to eat without worrying about parking or taxis. Skopelos also houses a wide selection of local artists and craftspeople, some with their own studios in town.

Christos townhouse was unique to us as it had an indulgent sense of scale that is often rare in houses for two people in small towns. The high ceilings and generously proportioned rooms attracted us straight away to this house and help to add your sense of light airy living, with room to relax and stretch out.

If you wish to stay here out of season please contact us - we prefer the house to be utilised through out the year, it makes a great writers retreat - or simply a place to chill for a while - we offer very good rates for long term.

The Ground floor has a single bed / used as a day bed normally but ideal for a third person if needed, we also have another fold away single bed and a cot.

Notes on accommodation: Strictly a non smoking house. There are lots of cute cats in the town but please don't invite them in. We have a six year old, and a two year old babe, so have added baby gates (Craftsman built - very stylish) and have a pushchair + travel cot in the utility area, so if you are a similar family this might be of interest to you. Outside: The balcony is on the first floor, accessed directly from the bedroom. The front of the building has seating step and has an open public area for sitting out in, or a play area for children (although I would be very careful with a ball as if it goes down the stairs - it'll go all the way to the port). Utility Room: Washing machine, ironing board, iron. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. The property is cleaned on a weekly basis. Other: Ground floor has generous reception space with day bed, reception leads to bathroom.

Beautiful town house

The house is just beautiful. It has been lovingly restored and they've done a brilliant job of it. It's in an ideal location in Skopelos old town and has great views over the harbour. Absolutely recommended, I would certainly stay again. Thank you Tom.

Superb accomodation on a beautiful island

We're just back from Skopelos and had a great time. We've stayed in 5 or 6 town houses in Skopelos over the past few years and none of them come close to this one in terms of the feel, style and comfort; the restoration you've done combines the best of UK standards but still retains its Greek character. The property is just as you describe it - if anything it is undersold and Yvonne was available to answer any questions. Next time we go to Skopelos, we'll want to stay here.

Brilliant apartment / island

Myself and my wife have stayed at this townhouse twice and had a fantastic stay and had two brilliant holidays (2012/2013). The townhouse is spacious and clean and the kitchen has the perfect view looking over to the sea. On booking the holidays the owners were v quick to respond to queries. The island is the perfect place to get away for a relaxing holiday away from the busy working life. We now have a daughter and hope in the coming years we will go back to Skopelos and Tom's Townhouse. I cannot recommend this accommodation & Greek island enough. Nick & Caroline Milne

Perfect Greek Island retreat for couples

You provided a very professional service from start to finish Tom. Martin and I had a wonderful week toddling around the winding little streets, admittedly getting ourselves lost from time to time! The weather was amazing and the beaches were so very beautiful we spent every single day just chilling out, choosing a different one each time.

Skopelos is a doddle to drive in, the nearest beach being just five minutes or so away by car.

A couple just wanting to chill, eat out and enjoy the simple things in life together would love this classy house and the island.

The Town House offers 5 star accommodation at a very reasonable price and allows you a taste of real Greek life.

Very highly recommended.

Perfect Honeymoon Location!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this perfect little Skopelos townhouse! The views from each level got better as you went up. We loved looking out the bedroom window at the boats below. The townhouse looked even better than the photos! It was decorated so wonderfully and modern. It was very clean and cozy. The housekeeper met us at the port and took us to the townhouse and answered all our questions. The walk up to the house was always fun and we liked to find new ways to get there. Skopelos town is adorable. Very traditional and historically charming. We found the food to be fantastic. Our favorite spots to eat were nestled in the town and not right by the water. The bus system was super easy. **If you are not from Europe and want to rent a motorized vehicle, get an international drivers license before you leave the US. We didn't do this, so we enjoyed hiking to some of the beaches. We would definitely recommend this place to couples. The owners always responded to our questions beforehand and were helpful. Wish we could be back there now!

Booking Notes:
One third deposit on booking, rest payable six weeks in advance. If booking for occupation within less than six weeks, total amount payable on booking reservation. Booking forms need to be returned within 24 hours. Once the booking form is returned I will hold the property for three days for the deposit/payment to come through. If not received within 3 days the property will be marked as available.

Changeover Day:
Our normal change over day is Friday, but we are open to alternative days - please ask. Check in time normally after 16:00pm and check out before 11:00am - Minimum rental period is 6 nights.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds Sterling. A 30% Deposit is required to Confirm a booking, with the outstanding amount to be paid at least 6 weeks before booked rental period. The full rental fee will need to be paid if booked within the 6 week period. We allow three days to return the short booking form - this is by email and just confirms dates and contact details.

100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
