Independent villa, fitted kitchen, 2 bedrooms 2 bathroom,laundry/toilet,swimmingpool surrounded by beautiful garden,20 min.to beach.

La Huerta Villa is situated in the hills above Velez-Malaga and only 20 minutes drive to the lively coastal town of Torre del Mar. Nearby there are several golf courses, possibilities for horse riding, tennis fields and many interesting beautiful natural parks. Excursions to beautiful Malaga with her new harbour (45 min. by car but there are also comfortable buses). Granada and Alhambra (1 and half hour drive), tickets are available on line or if you need assistance just ask us. Cordoba is 2 hours away and Sevilla 2 and half hours as well as Gibraltar. Spanish highs ways are new and fantastic.

The villa's surroundings can only be described as peaceful, beautiful and totally relaxing. Being located only 2km from the local village Almachar were one can obtain most daily provisions and 15 km from the town of Velez-Malaga were you can shop to your hearts content.

The villa offers a well tended garden full of flowers with lush green lawn under waving palm trees were you can wind down on sun beds in the warm Andalucian sun next to the crystal clear swimming pool.

The orchard produces several fruits and vegetables which are available in season for clients at their desire.

The 60m2 terraces around the villa have beautiful outdoors sitting and dinning facilities where you can enjoy your leisure time and meals. Between the garden/swimming pool and terraces is a inviting barbecue area.

No need to bring your own towels, there are plenty available as well as two hairdryers.

The fridge in the villa will have your welcome drinks cool at arrival. In case of late arrival we offer to do the shopping for your first breakfast. Would you prefer to be collected at the airport, just inform us. For further information , please do not hesitate to contact us.

By prior arrangement for special occasions like marriage proposal, wedding anniversary, birthdays etc. to celebrate, we would love to make the occasion memorable with catering, special decoration, flowers etc. according to your wishes.

We are Angelina and Howard, aged 67 and 57. We love nature and gardening, improving the property with a mix of ideas and art relating to our background and working experiences abroad.

We are determined to make your holidays unforgettable. La Huerta Villas provides quality of life, all amenities are available, decoration is tasteful and the atmosphere is Zen.

Our guests feel at ease, comfortable and reassured because we are client minded and always ready to fulfill special wishes.

We love the area because it is sub-tropical. Access is easy. The environment is inspiring for photographers, painters, guest will be able to relax and walking routes are inviting. Guests can choose form the calm privacy of the location or/and the typical white villages around, natural parks or the bustling cities and beaches mere 12km away, Malaga airport 45km., Malaga centre 40 min by car.

Temperatures are always better than else where: never too cold and not as hot as in other parts of Spain. Winter means occasionally strong winds, nights between 5 -7 degrees, fresh mornings and some rainy days. Usually during the cooler day a body warmer would already be too much.

We are surrounded by avocado, mango and lychees trees (always green). Vines and almond trees cover the slopes. We added some tropical palm trees to our property, lush lawns and beautiful flower borde

What makes this villa unique

Our property is unique because of the special attention to the guests and the eclectic art objects/decoration all around. it is beautifully and completely furnished, all details are available preventing guests to load their suitcases with towels, linen, bath products, hair dryers, too many cloths. Everything is of quality:no plastic chairs.

The orchard is rich with a variety of fruit and vegetables. It is a joy for clients who have free use of the orchard's offerings.

On request, guests can joint twice a week for home made meals in the "secret garden". Again on request, there are possibilities for Spa treatment.

Picked ups at the airport or be taken for excursions, all this is possible. Special wishes only have to be mentioned and we do what is in our power to for-fill them.

Access to all services, incl. super fast train En AVE from Malaga to Madrid only 2 and half hours. An excursion which is possible as one day visit (or more).

Notes on accommodation: No animals allowed. No smoking indoors. Outside: La Huerta Villas is surrounded by gardens full of plants and flowers, orchard with vegetables and many fruit trees. Not for nothing clients are calling la Huerta Villas a paradise. Utility Room: Washing machine (laundry). Ironing board and iron. Hair dryer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen available. Professional cleaning services included (once a week and a additional cleaning job at the end of the stay). Other: Sitting and dining areas with comfortable teak and rattan furniture are on the terraces overlooking the garden and flowerbeds,the swimming pool and the valley. Around the swimming pool are sun beds on the lawn and shade is provided by the palm trees.

Relaxing stay for Christmas and New year 2016

We spent 9 nights in this beautiful place in Andalucia for Christmas and New Years 2016.

We loved every minute of it. The house was gorgeous decorated with tasteful furniture and settings.

Our fantastic landlords Angelina and Howard prepared everything for us before arrival, even a Christmas tree.

This was a holiday we never wanted to end.

We can highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to have peace, quiet and a fantastic view overlooking the hills.

The property was attractive, clean and comfortable with a beautiful garden- which added to the enjoyment of an excellent painting break.

Angelina and Howard were the perfect hosts. The position of the property is lovely and well situated for sightseeing - providing that independent holiday guests have a car.
