About the property

E2119

Outstanding views overlooking the Alkham valley through to the sea, nestling on the top of the north downs, ideal for hikers and dog walkers. There is plenty of off road parking and a private pretty garden surrounds the property. We are ideally situated just 5 mins from the port of Dover and 2 mins from the euro tunnel, enabling easy access to the continent. We are also on the main bus route. Enjoy a day trip to Calais or view the iconic white cliffs from the English Channel. Canterbury is only 25 minutes drive and Hythe with its antique shops and excellent fish and chips is 15 minutes away. There are discounted designer ranges at De Bradelei Wharf in Dover or Macarthur Glen in Ashford which also makes for a great day out. Don’t miss Dover castle and for hiking and biking, head towards Folkestone and the Leas Promenade. There is a walkway running alongside the property with great dog walks. Shops, pubs and restaurants are only 200 yards away and cater for all tastes and palates.

About The Owner

I'm an out going outdoor type person like to go dog walking, keeping fit, always busy and hard working mother to two boys, one girl and a dog, a cat and a rabbit. Welcoming to guests liking to put them at their ease when they arrive at Alkham Valley View, hoping guests will have a wonderful stay with us and enjoy the local sites and attractions.

The Owner purchased this cottage in 2009

Why The Owner chose Kent

We purchased because of the view, and business opportunities and the closeness of shopping areas. Although we are still in the country.

What makes this cottage unique

We are the only holiday annexe welcoming pets. The holiday unit is clean and well kept. With plenty of private off road parking .

First impressions - spotless accomodation, lovely views, and very well served by village amenities (very friendly welcome for dog at the nearby White Horse Inn). We have walked the Downs and enjoyed the great weather. "We'll be back". Many thanks.
