Outstanding views overlooking the Alkham valley through to the sea, nestling on the top of the north downs, ideal for hikers and dog walkers. There is plenty of off road parking and a private pretty garden surrounds the property. We are ideally situated just 5 mins from the port of Dover and 2 mins from the euro tunnel, enabling easy access to the continent. We are also on the main bus route. Enjoy a day trip to Calais or view the iconic white cliffs from the English Channel. Canterbury is only 25 minutes drive and Hythe with its antique shops and excellent fish and chips is 15 minutes away. There are discounted designer ranges at De Bradelei Wharf in Dover or Macarthur Glen in Ashford which also makes for a great day out. Don’t miss Dover castle and for hiking and biking, head towards Folkestone and the Leas Promenade. There is a walkway running alongside the property with great dog walks. Shops, pubs and restaurants are only 200 yards away and cater for all tastes and palates.

The living room come bedroom has a comfortable double bed and sofa bed which sleeps 2, colour TV with free view, free WIFI included, dining table and chairs also a cot can be provided if needed. The bathroom comes with a toilet, basin, and walk in shower cubical. There is a separate fully equipped kitchen including fridge, microwave, washing machine, cooker and freezer.
Linen and towels are provided for a small charge of £15 per unit. Pets are welcome for a small charge of £15 per unit.

I'm an out going outdoor type person like to go dog walking, keeping fit, always busy and hard working mother to two boys, one girl and a dog, a cat and a rabbit. Welcoming to guests liking to put them at their ease when they arrive at Alkham Valley View, hoping guests will have a wonderful stay with us and enjoy the local sites and attractions.

Activity and Interests
The beach is 5 mins drive away. In Folkestone you will find the (Sunny Sands) by the Folkestone harbour just under the east cliff where you will find crazy golf and tennis courts. and the Warren which is a long stretch of sandy beaches with camp sites etc. back in Folkestone under the Leas you will find a long stretch of pebbly beach that stretches around the coast to Dungerness. Also here we have a beach hut that you are welcome to use at anytime just ask for the key
The nearest airport is Gatwick which is an hour and 15 mins by car away. Driving distance to Dover port from here is 5 mins. We are on the main bus route. Folkestone train station is a 2 mins drive.
Canterbury Cathedral is 25 mins by car or can catch a bus right outside this is a beautiful city with many old museums to look at and the chaucer tales. Dover port is 6 minuits by car, the euro tunnel is 3 mins. the beach is 3 mins away.

Bookings go from Friday- Friday. Deposits are 20% of total payment, unless within 2 weeks of holiday when full payment is needed.
For the Annex change over day is Friday's, arrival 3pm and departure time is 10am. For the B&B 5pm arrival and 10am depature. This can alter if you need to arrive at different times just need to let me know.
Notes on prices:
Winter prices are held between November to March.
Spring and summer prices vary (ring owner to confirm pricing as changeable and negotiable by weekly dates)
Friday is changeover day for weekly stays, and Monday for weekend stays.

- Notes on accommodation: Pets are welcome, lots of lovely walks around the local area, children are especially welcome of any age. Lots to do for them in this area. A small charge of £15 a dog. Bed linen and towels will be charged at £15 per unit. Outside: Lovely private gardens it has it own private patio area with seating, a barbecue area. it has its own table and chairs with parasol.
