Villa Asterias is a two storey property and has two double bedrooms and one twin, all en-suite and with seperate air-conditioning units. The upper floor bedrooms open out onto two large verandas with fabulous sea views and overlook the private 28m2 swimming pool. Here you can relax in the evening watching the swallows swoop over the swimming pool, before retiring. The kitchen is spacious with a full size oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave. There is also T.V. system offering British news and radio channels. Free broadband Wifi is available. At the front of the villa is a covered patio eating area a welcome break on hot summer days and evenings. Take advantage of the brick-built barbeque for the perfect way to complete your day. Private parking spaces are adjacent to the villa.
The location of the villas is very quiet and peaceful whilst being not too far from the amenities of the busy resort of Lourdas. The villas have 2 and 3 bedroom all with air-conditioning. Each villa has it's own private pool and patio area and they are all separated by fir and oleander trees for privacy. There is a private entrance drive leading into the property and each villa has a dedicated parking lot. The kitchens are well equipped with a full size oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer along with smaller electrical items and the dining/lounge areas are spacious with comfy seating. Broadband WiFi is available in all areas of the property. The crystal clear private swimming pools are cleaned twice weekly. A welcome food and drink selection is set out at each villa, great for a start up package. Cleaning and laundry change is carried out during your stay, included in our prices. Cyprus and olive trees gives the whole area a private natural feel. Lourdas is a traditional village which is equipped with all the amenities of a popular beach resort. The villas are situated only 10 minutes walk from the long stretch of shingle beach, where you can find watersports and a variety of tavernas.
We have had a business in Kefalonia for almost 20 years. We had two children and now live both in Kefalonia and the U.K.. It is a family run business, building and managing villas. We manage, clean and maintain all our villas to a very high standard.

The location was ideal and just at the start of tourism in the area. This multi unit property was built, with the intension of the owner eventually retiring to one of them in years to come. Lourdas is a quaint village with enough tourism to make it busy but with it's style and tradition kept intact
The location is ideal if you do not want to travel far and wish to have amenities close by and great for quiet walks away from main roads.
A 15% deposit is require to secure a booking and a further 35% two months prior to arrival and the final 50% one month in advance. All rental payments must be made prior to arrival.
No specific days. Entrance to the villa is accepted after 2pm and departure must be by 10.00am (unless otherwise agreed).
This was our first trip to Cephalonia and our first experience of Cephalonia Homes. Both came up trumps. The villa is set back from the Lourdas road, up a steep narrow road. But the location gives great views over to Zakynthos. There was a good welcome pack on arrival. The villa was very clean and simply furnished. We will be back.
Traveling with 3 young children the Villa was great by utilizing the pool, spacious bedrooms and the 3 bathrooms with 3 showers. A short walk away from the beautiful Lourdes Beach was a great daily amenity.
We enjoyed our stay at the Villa Asterias, it was as expected and as advertised although we feel the pictures on the website should be updated as it now has privacy hedges between the villas which makes it more private. Also the directions in Lourdas itself need updating (the directions stating car/bike hire turn left we thought it may be better showing Liza's grill as the car/bike hire is not there anymore). We enjoyed a walk down the hill to a couple of tavernas.
A beautiful area to rest and relax, lovely property, pool is fab and maintained well. Would definitely recommend hiring a car. Excellent supermarkets and restaurants locally. We're going back for sure!
We arrived very late. It was dark so the directions were very helpful as was the welcome pack which contained all that was neccessary for a late snack & breakfast. The villa was clean & well presented. The owners called early next morning to check all was well & answer any queries we had about the area. They were very friendly & on hand if they were needed. During the week they called to change linen & clean. A car is advisable as the area is very hilly. There are plenty of taverners serving excellent food at reasonable prices. We shopped at AB & Lidle which we found much cheaper than the local supermarkets. We did however use Petros for every day essentials, also the local bakery whose bread etc was delicious. Wifi was also available for our use. Another nice touch was the complementary toiletries. I would certainly recommend this sea view villa to family's and all who appreciate a quiet area with many attractions close by. The beach is also close by but easier to reach by car.
Just a perfect villa for our stay. It was well equipped, clean and with lovely views. Our children just loved the pool and spent most of the day in it!
The beach was in walking distance and other beautiful beaches within easy driving distance. Lourdes has some wonderful restaurants and bars and we look forward to visiting again soon!
