Looking down on this cobbled pedestrianised street, the flat is on the doorstep of many historic attractions. Edinburgh Castle dominates the city skyline with its rampart looking down on medieval lanes and terraces that hold over a thousand years of history, mystery and tradition. You will also see our modern, dynamic capital which hosts international festivals and concerts and has galleries, bars and restaurants in abundance. Princes Street, Waverley Station and the bus station are all within a short walk. Whether you visit in the spring, summer or winter, Edinburgh has something for all seasons and after spending the day site seeing, open up the living room window, take a seat and do a bit of 'people watching' over the Royal Mile. Convenient location and roomy

We were met at the train station by Jeanette, which was very considerate. She then oriented us to the area, walking to the apartment. There she reviewed it's features. Very thoughtful of her.

The WiFi wasn't available or if it was, was intermittent-just an FYI

Clean, roomy, safe and walking distance

We visited Edinburgh in June 2016. Jeanette, the owner, is one of the warmest person that we met, she waited for us at the bus stop and while walking to the apartment told us a bit of Edinburgh history. The apartment size is more than enough for 2 adults, a very well equipped kitchen, washing machine and perfectly positioned to visit Edinburgh, feel the city and enjoy its food. The Royal Mile can be noisy in the evenings but the windows are double, so the nights were quiet. We definitely recommend the apartment as we had a very pleasant experience!!

great property located a few minutes from mayor city attractions

Great owner, Jeanette went to the station to pick us up!!! So kind and given she tried to make her best to point out most important city attractions and where to get supplies!!! Great place to stay at!!! Couldn't had been better!!! Thank you Jeanette!!!!!

Excellent Location/Comfortable

I stayed in this apartment in September 2015. The location is excellent as it is on the Royal Mile in the heart of the city. It is an easy walk from Waverly Station where you can get the airport bus, sightseeing hop-on/hop off buses, and trains. There is a tourist office at Waverly Station where I booked a small-bus tour that went out into the countryside. It is an easy walk to Edinburgh Castle, the art museum, shops, and the public gardens. The apartment is clean and spacious and furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a grocery store nearby and many many restaurants to choose from. The host, Jeanette, met me at Waverly Station when I arrived. She was friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying here again.

Great Value

You cannot find a better location from which to enjoy Edinburgh. The central location of this flat make numerous sites within easy walking distance and the flat is well outfitted for a comfortable stay. We went out for an early morning, had lunch back at the flat and then carried on with our day. The convince of the location is fantastic. The owner is extremely helpful and accommodating.

Our flat has been in our family for generations and our family ties to this historic part of the City will let you understand why we love the area. The vibrancy of the location will win your heart but in complete contrast you will find the flat very peaceful.

Cramond or Portobello Beach are both approx a 30 mins bus journey


Edinburgh Airport is a 25 minute bus journey from apartment.

Waverley Railway station is approx 5 minute walk away.

Bus station approx 10 minute walk away.


Edinburgh Castle is a 5 min walk.

St Giles Cathedral is a 2 min walk.

Princes Street is a 5 min walk.

Close to main shopping streets, restaurants, pubs, banks, and a wide variety of tourist attractions.

Ideally located for access to the Edinburgh festivals and New Year celebrations.

Our flat is at the centre of all Edinburgh's transport connections so you can easily travel to the West of Scotland (Glasgow), Perthshire, The Borders or The Highlands.
