We live and work in England and enjoy our relaxing holiday in S'Algar, where the local people are friendly and helpful. There are many places to visit and explore, it is just so nice to be able to relax in the sun in a peaceful setting.

“Menorca is a quite island with magnificent views with many historic connections, monuments and buildings. There are many beautiful beaches and coastal walks within a short distance of S'Algar. There is a selection of typical Spanish and modern shops, whose staff are very helpful, along with the local markets. Mao harbour is a ideal setting to have a evening meal watching the sun set with boats going to a fro; boat hire is also easy for the adventurer. There is a wide range of bars and restaurants to suit most tastes. Mao airport is only 20 minutes drive from S'Algar which is a lovely quite and safe Spanish village.”

2 minutes walk to sea front. 5 minute walk to local restaurants, bars and shops. Well equipped Diving centre on beach front. Boyed off sea area for safe bathing and sun bathing. Short drive to local safe beaches for children. Good coastal and country paths for the explorer.
15 minutes drive from Mahon (Mao) airport to S'Algar, car rental recommended however good bus service to Sant Lluis, Moa and other towns.
Sant Lluis 10 minutes drive from S'Algar, Mahon 20 minutes drive.
Local shops in S'Algar includes bakers, restaurants, bars, gift shops, diving centre and supermarket 5 minutes walk from apartment. Bank in Sant Lluis with bars, restaurants, ice cream parlour and supermarkets.

“The apartment is only 2 minutes walk from the sea and 5 minutes walk from the local shops. We supply a box in the utility room packed with an assortment of beach items for the kids and adults use. The local shops supply a wide range fresh meat and vegetables at very competitive prices and the taste is so good. Easy access to all parts of the island by either car or local bus.”
