Apartment in Rauris, Salzburgerland, Austria - Close to Ski Lifts and Village

The apartment was built in 2008 and has solid oak flooring and contemporary fittings, blending with traditional Austrian design to provide very comfortable and Eco friendly accommodation for four. Free of charge to guests is the Spa facility, with swimming pool, sauna and steam room as well as a gym and laundry room. The apartment has it's own allocated parking space in the underground garage. The village centre is only a short walk away, where there is a wide choice of bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. The main ski lift cableway is also close by, providing easy access to Hochalm both in winter and summer.

We had a great time skiing , the apartment was great, really lovely to come back to every night . Also great place to take the children as felt really safe and everything you needed was right on the door step would love to return next year , going to start the fund now !

Notes on accommodation: The apartment has underfloor heating and hot water which is supplied from the towns Eco district system. Wifi internet access is available in the apartment. Outside: Our large balcony has a table and chairs and enjoys a sunny aspect with lovely views of the valley and surrounding mountains. There is a shared swimming pool, sauna and steam room as well as a gym and laundry room. The Steinbock bar is a central meeting point with the roof terrace having wonderful views. There is a private underground Garage and our apartment has one allocated parking space. The apartments and leisure facilities can be accessed through the garage and basement areas. Utility Room: Communal laundry room in the basement area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Rentals include bedding,towels,and final cleaning. Other: Large sunny balcony off living room and kitchen, with table and chairs. Shared ski and boot room in the basement.

Beautiful, modern, well equipped apartment.

Just back from Rauris after a fabulous stay. The apartment had everything we needed and was lovely and warm and very clean. We felt very at home. The underground parking and the ski room were a great bonus. The pool was a great area to chill after a day of skiing and we used it almost every day. The bar was also great with good food and really friendly staff. Throughout booking the apartment Nick was excellent, answering any questions we had straight away with really helpful info. We would definitely recommend this apartment and hope to return!

Fantastic apartment in an amazing location

We had a fantastic fortnight in this well located, well appointed clean apartment. It is surrounded by beautiful mountain views and only a few minutes walk from the picture postcard village of Rauris where we found 2 well stocked supermarkets and a number of very good places to eat. The on-site spa was good but only opened between 3pm and 10pm so no early morning swims! The gym was ok but sadly the bar and restaurant were closed during our stay. The owner and on-site management team were friendly and efficient. I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and would love to return in the future.

I have stay in this apartment on more than one occasion. It is ideally located at the North end of the village, close to the lifts and a short stroll to the supermarket and shops. The accommodation and cleaniless is excellent for both the skier and walkers with storage area near to the car park space. I have no hesitation in recommending the apartment and the complex with the spa facilities and pool.

Winter holidays

Great apartment! Very clean and well furnished.

Very good location, close to the ski lift and town center.

Many good restaurants and a lot of walking paths in the vicinity.

We are planning to spend our next winter holidays over there!

Special interest holidays:

Rauris is a historic town dating from the 15th century, with a gold mining heritage in the 'Golden Valley'. It has been a favourite destination for Hikers but other activities such as mountain biking, Tennis, horse riding, paragliding and white water rafting are available.

The Rauris valley also plays host to rare wildlife, including the reintroduced Griffon Vulture and a trip to the Birds of Prey museum in Worth or the valley of the vultures is recommended. The excellent local tourist office in Rauris have a programme of daily events throughout the main summer and winter seasons.


Rauris is approximately 55 miles from Salzburg and is easily reached by car. There are also rail links to Taxenbac/Rauris (a taxi or bus then required to reach the town) or by Taxi transfer from Salzburg airport.

Further Details:

Rauris is a 'working' village. Whilst tourism plays a large part in the local economy Austrian village life still goes on, whether it be the local farmer driving his cows down the main street for milking and the blacksmith mending agricultural equipment.

The centre of Rauris has a mixture of Bars and Restaurants and two supermarkets, both of which are very well stocked.

There are outdoor and indoor Tennis courts, bowling and mini golf. There is also a large outdoor swimming pool which is open during the summer months.
