Three Bed roomed cottage in Southwold, Suffolk - Two Minutes Walk to the Beach an

A delightful three bedroom cottage that sleeps Six is just two minutes from the beach and two minutes from Southwold town centre. We also have available, by separate arrangement, a beach hut that is just a three minute walk from the cottage. The cottage is well equipped with a TV & DVD player in the sitting room and a second TV in the master bedroom. We also enjoy a good Wi-Fi signal. The Kitchen-dinner is well equipped with a fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, cooker with a Gas hob etc, which leads into the dining area that comfortably accommodates eight people

Beautiful seaside cottage

We had a wonderful week staying at this cottage a stones throw from the seaside. It was perfectly clean and equipped to ensure we had all we needed for a relaxing holiday. We really didn't want to leave.. Many thanks

Lovely cottage, perfectly located

We loved our stay at back to front cottage. The house is decorated very nicely, furnished as though to live in (not the usual mismatch cheap rental furniture). Beds were comfy with good bedding and towels supplied. The mini bath was surprisingly lovely with a sky light above it. The kitchen is well equipped (might be worth taking your own sharp kitchen knive/bread knife). Nice touches like paracetamol/plasters in the toilet, not that we used them, and cling film and kitchen clothes and other basics, so it didn't cost a fortune to go and buy salt/pepper and the like.

Location couldn't be better. You're virtually on the beach and right near steps down to the beach. Perfect especially with a small family as we could easily nip back and forth. You're also right in town but not on a busy/loud street do benefit from everything at your doorstep minus noise. The park is less than 5 minutes away, 3 good pubs the same and Tesco express/coop and lovely local bakery etc all about 2 minutes walk.

Parking was easy down nearby streets (free) and there was space to park outside to unload when we arrived.

We realised we'd have been better using the back door with the buggy as you otherwise need to move it into the front room on entering the house (onto a pale carpet- sadly it was raining some of our trip).

Overall I definitely reccomend the cottage and southwold generally.

Quite possibly the best place in the world ever

Having travelled the world extensively for most of my adult life Southwold and Back to Front cottage remains my favourite place to holiday with our two small children and before that with no children...from the moment you arrive you are hit with an overwelming feeling of calm and serenity; the location is second to none, nestled on the cliff top with a short walk to the beach; we also hire the beach hut that is owned by Back to Front Cottage...for us a must as having a base on such a beautiful stretch of beach makes holidaying with our children an absolute dream...the ease of then walking the short distance back to the cottage at the end of our day is just perfect...the downstairs hot/power shower makes it so easy to wash the sand off and get ready for an evening in or a night out at one of the multitude of restaurants and pubs Southwold has to offer...my favourite, the Lord Nelson pub is literally a stones throw away...here the children can be accomadated or left outside to play safely on their bikes as we relax and watch the sun go down...back at the ranch the spacious kitchen dining area is fantastic for socialising and the seperate living room provides an opportunity for unprecidented relaxation...and if you still have the energy to go upstairs you can relax further in the Japanese jacuzziu bath...Southwold is unique and Back to Front cottage, for me, is quite possibly the best place in the world ever.

A wonderful stay!

What a charming cottage very cosy with a real 'seasidey' feel. Within moments you are on the beach with its promenade of jolly and brightly coloured beach huts and just a few minutes walk from the centre of town l. So all in all everything you need for a fabulous stay in this beautiful part of the country. Can't wait to go back!

Fees No additional mandatory fees

Booking Notes:
Price range from £474 - £960 per week. 50% of the total rent is required upon booking. In the event of cancellation, the tenant remains responsible for the full rent unless the property can be re-let, in which case the deposit will be refunded less a cancellation fee of £30.

Changeover Day:
The changeover day is Friday. Tenancy commences at 3pm and tenants are to vacate the property at 11am.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Outside of the School Holiday season the Cottage is available for long weekend breaks with a minimum stay of four nights at the stated weekly rental pro-rated over four nights.
