What a lovely villa Cennet is and truly the most amazing views. We have been to Kalkan twice before and your beautiful villa made this the most wonderful visit of all. Everything we needed was right there and with plenty of style and comfort. Leslie Noble 2013

"We are now back in the land of the living - and have had a fabulous holiday! Kalkan and the locals were as usual lovely and your villa was a pure delight...as was the pool! We found the villa stunning and really well equipped and the Sagem and Wii were brilliant when the children just wanted some cool time indoors for an hour or so". Caroline and Graham Couch - July 2010.

We had a really wonderful time in Villa Cennet. It felt like total luxury, and you had thought of everything...! We had everything we needed and more!

The villa manager was really helpful, it was great to have the villa cleaned half way through the week. It was a beautiful place to stay and would absolutely want to go again in the future! Alex Mickleburgh

This lovely villa is set in hills overlooking beautiful Kalkan and Kalamar bays.

Very comfortable with lovely views and all you could possibly want from a villa.

Lovely comfortable decor, comfy beds and well equipped kitchen and living area.

A short taxi ride into town or a longer walk… !

Owners were really friendly and helpful and the villa maintained well.

Lovely infinity pool with games room below.

Helpful information pack on arrival and thoughtful welcome pack with basics on arrival.

A Stunning Villa

  • 5 of 5

This is a fantastic villa overlooking Kalcan and Kalamar bays, but only a 15 minute walk down into the town. It is extremely comfortable and well equipped with everything that you would require on holiday. The owners are extremely helpful in letting you know all the information you require to help your holiday go smoothly. We would thoroughly recommend this property.

A week was not long enough!!

  • 5 of 5

We have been back almost a couple of weeks now and are only just getting over holiday blues!!! The villas was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need. The town was about a 20 mins walk down, the great thing about being up high was the breeze and the views were beyond amazing. We used Define Tours as our transfer to and from the airport as a rec from the owners, Ozzy was brilliant, couldn't have been more helpful. We would all highly recommend this villa and are booking up for 2 weeks next year!!

What a view!!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first trip to Kalkan, what a fabulous place! Villa Cennet exceeded our expectations. The view of Kalkan and Kalamar bays from the terrace was captivating. In the morning you could watch the fishing and tourist boats leaving the harbour for the day or enjoy the twinkling lights of the town in the moonlight. The villa itself was very comfortable for two families including four teenage children. There were plenty of places to relax, either on the outdoor sofas, on the sunbeds by the pool or on one of the terraces outside the bedrooms. There was also an outside dining table and an excellent bbq. The villa was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen was well equipped with a cold water butt, which we were very grateful for. There were lots of personal touches, such as hairdryers in all the bathrooms, MP3 speakers, plenty of paperbacks to read, cold bags to take to the beach and lots of pretty tea lights to decorate the terrace in the evening! A car would be recommended, as the villa is a long way up the hill, although there are plenty of taxis in town. We tended to eat out most nights as the food was excellent and very reasonable, we ate in a different place every time, most places having roof terraces with a welcome breeze. We felt very at ease in Kalkan and were happy to let our children have a little bit more freedom that we would at home. We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Villa Cennet.

Wonderful holiday

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Villa Cennet with friends and family and had a superb holiday. The villa is in a stunning location with views across Kalkan and the bays. The villa itself is beautiful and had everything you would need. The air-con is excellent and was very welcome with outside temperatures in the 30's. The patio areas are great with top quality sun umbrellas, sun beds and cushioned seating. There is plenty of shade if you want it at the side of the villa near the BBQ. Eating out in Kalkan was very good. We probably ate out at least 12 nights, in a different restaurant each time and did not have one poor meal. We found the best thing to do was book in advance and get a table on a rooftop terrace where you get a good view over the harbour and a welcome breeze. The villa is up the hill overlooking the town so a car is recommended. If you don't want to drive there are plenty of taxis available. Kalkan is a nice compact place to wander around with plenty of bars to sit outside and watch the world go by whilst the ladies are working their way through all the jewellery and handbag shops !! We can recommend Villa Cennet for anyone wanting a beautiful villa in a beautiful location. We would certainly stay there again

Villa Cennet

  • 5 of 5

We had such a wonderful 2 weeks in Villa Cennet. Stunning views, cool breeze and extremely well equipped and comfortable villa. Easy access to the town where there are plentiful restaurants, bars and great shopping.

The villa location high up on the hill is a welcome relief from the very high temp in town.

Further Details:

Kalkan is an enchanting, pretty, tranquil fishing village located on Turkey’s Lycian Way nestling at the foothills of the Taurus Mountains. The climate is similar to southern California, the sea temperature in summer is always around 26C, the coastline is known as the Turquoise Coast. Mass tourism has passed this little fishing village by leaving Kalkan relatively unspoiled. Brilliantly coloured bougainvillea cascades from the balconies of whitewashed houses down into the ancient narrow cobbled streets that lead to the small harbour creating an old world atmosphere to absorb and enjoy. Kalkan is famous for its restaurants many of which have roof terraces overlooking Kalkan Bay where you can enjoy a family meal or a romantic meal for two, restaurants cater for all tastes offering traditional Turkish and International menus. The harbour restaurants allow you to sit and pass the time of day people watching, enjoying a drink and relaxing. Islamlar is a small mountain village above Kalkan, here you can dine in the open air in one of the trout restaurants overlooking a mountain valley with a spectacular view to the sea while enjoying your excellent meal of fresh trout. Most amenities are available in Kalkan, banks with ATM machines, supermarkets (most will offer a delivery service), a post office, a medical centre, chemist, dentist, internet cafes and a wide variation of shops selling Turkish rugs, gold jewellery, leather goods and souvenirs etc. The fabulous ancient sites of Lycia are within traveling distance of Kalkan, the sunken city of Kekova, Saklikent Gorge, longest in Turkey, Tlos, Xanthos, Letoon, Patara and Myra where you will find the Church of St Nicholas (Santa Claus). Kalkan offers something for everyone, beaches, scuba diving, snorkeling, water sports, boat/gullet trips, paragliding, river canoeing, river tubing, walking along the beautiful Lycian Way. Once visited returning to the paradise that is Kalkan will be inevitable.
