Villa Ambelonas is a very private, peaceful 3 en suite bedroom luxury villa, in sought after Old Skala area, with stunning uninterrupted 180 degree sea views, large private infinity pool & BBQ in one acre of garden, it’s light spacious, open plan design & perfect location is ideal for your precious holiday time.

The villa is a very well equipped home from home, offering unlimited WiFi, UK tv, air conditioning, large outdoor sunny patios with BBW & a shady covered terrace for outdoor dining and relaxing. Twice weekly maid service, towels, linen & all local taxes are included.

The villa easily accommodates up to 6 adults in beds, plus 1 baby or child in a fold down bed or cot, on request, extra linen charge applies. Downstairs bedroom has 1 king size bed. First floor has 2 twin bedrooms, which can be made into super-king size beds on request.

Depth: Shallow 0.6m graduating to deep end 1.9m perfect for laps & children, who must be supervised while in and around the pool at all times.

The villa has air-conditioning and heating throughout and is comfortably furnished and very well equipped for couples & families with lots of facilities including free unlimited Wi-Fi, English TV, bluetooth speaker with cd, badminton & tennis rackets, DVD/CD/book library, Egyptian cotton bedding, outdoor loungers, cool box, nutribullet blender and many other extras. Private chef, grocery delivery & daily maid service are available on request at additional charge.

Outside a large shady covered terrace with bougainvillea clambering up the pillars is an essential outdoor living & snoozing space, with ample room for dining plus sofas to relax & escape the midday heat. We love sitting on the shady terrace or in loungers on the huge sunny patio, enjoying the ever changing views across the sea to mainland Greece & the neighbouring island of Zante, watching the yachts sailing past, with a glass of chilled local Robola wine. Changeover day in peak season is Saturday, with Wednesday on request, which coincides with the widest choice of direct flight options to Kefalonia (EFL) including Gatwick, Manchester, Heathrow, Stansted & Bristol. Off season we can be flexible on arrival day and length of stay, so you may find your local regional airport flies direct to Kefalonia on other days. Bookings taken now up to 2026.

Lovely villa with a spectacular view

Wonderful secluded setting for a relaxing holiday, yet only a short drive from Skala town and all its facilities. Highly recommended.

Fabulous!!

Had an amazing stay at Ambelonas Villa, the villa and location are incredible. Irene made us feel so welcome when booking and throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and she gave us so much information to enhance our holiday. We felt totally looked after, with Elaine only a short distance away if we had any difficulties. This is the most beautiful, tranquil place we have ever stayed and can’t wait to go back next year.

Family holiday in skala

This is a unique villa stay due to the amazing view and location. It is based in old skala so a car is essential and you have to be willing to drive to beach, restaurants, town etc. However, what you get is a beautiful View, complete privacy and lots of friendly goats! The house is clean, has everything you might need and Irene and the house keeper helped with anything we needed during our stay, The welcome basket on arrival was a lovely touch. We loved it and made the most of the view and amazing pool during our stay.

Special place

Absolutely amazing villa. Spotlessly clean, amazing view and peaceful location - very private. Some nice touches from the owners (welcome pack with basic foodstuff, cool box for trips out). Very comfortable beds and great communication from the owners and villa manager. We had the perfect holiday here - highly recommended!
