Jonny and Elaine from Helensburgh Scotland, it's the second time we have been to the village and house, it has to be one of the most elegant comfortable house that we have rented to date and love it more each time, didn't want to leave.

Alison and Anthony Page from Dinnington S. Yorkshire, beautiful house, lovely are and nice old village, highly recommend. Could easily have done another week.

Helen and Pete Thompson S. Yorkshire, very comfortable and beautiful house, lovely warm welcome and had a wonderful time.

Stunning house 5* quality

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed here for a family get together and wow we had an amazing time....We hadn't been for a few years due to different commitments and forgot how much we love the house and the village :) ...I have stayed in a lot of different accommodations through my work and I have to say this is like a 5 star boutique hotel with lots of personal touches.

Heather really has thought of everything when building this house with the tasteful furnishings and spacious layout and it has every home comfort you could want...the fridge with a starter pack was perfect....the place hasnt changed that much and still has a lovely Spanish feel to it with the beautiful square and the views etc some new restaurants and tapas bars serving gorgeous food...so close to the Costa too with its lovely beach and promenade. We had some lovely meals down there and one evening we even had the pleasure of the horses and cart all dressed up in their finery take us down :) ...Heather has a great knowledge of the place and nothing is too much trouble for her :) we will definitely be back very soon :)

Perfect place to stay

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful, comfortable and relaxed. Heather has created a wonderful place to stay with all the amenities you could wish for.

The house was immaculate and spacious. The library with books, DVDs and CDs was a very welcome bonus. The welcome pack of breakfast and essentials provided by Heather was also very welcome and so thoughtful. The village has shops, bars, cafes and restaurants all in walking distance and the main square is very pretty and typically Spanish - a great place to have a coffee or beer and watch the world go by. l would have no hesitation recommending the house to anyone.

PERFECT!

  • 5 of 5

Great Holiday! Boutique Town House spacious, spotless and well equipped with everything from hairdryers to beach towels and beach games. We had an excellent family reunion/holiday here, barbecues on the lower terrace, drinks on the upper terrace, with beautiful views. We arrived late and Heather had filled the fridge with goodies, so we could have a relaxing breakfast next morning (and Cava, thanks!) Would definitely recommend, area beautiful from Torrox Village Square to Torrox Costa! Looking to Book for next year! Thanks Heather also for being such a great hostess, will definitely be recommending your lovely town house to my friends!

amazing very stylish house located in a picture perfect village

  • 5 of 5

Thank you to heather for letting us stay in her immaculate, well equipped house. Thank you for the welcome food basket that she provided free of charge. The house was perfect for our children, plenty of space for them and lots of toys for the beach. The beds were very comfy and lots of towels including beach towels were provided. We enjoyed listening to music whilst having a bbq in the garden (lots of cd's and dvd's). The village is very pretty. Recommend using the bakery on the square for fresh bread and scrummy croissants. The ice-cream parlour round the corner is good too with nice views. Best restaurant in the square is la cala. Our children played in the water fountains located on the square with the local Spanish children. Everyone is very friendly in the village. We would definately return to this house and location.

Fabulous spacious house

  • 5 of 5

Wow, what a gem of a house in the lovely village of Torrox Pueblo. This is our 10th visit to the village but the first time we have stayed in Heather's house. All our party were blown away with the house. Great outside entertaining area where we spent many a night chilling out. All bedrooms spacious and beautifully presented. Fans in all the bedrooms which is a godsend in July/August. Great sized kitchen with all the equipment you would need and more. All beach equipment provided to use which saved buying when we arrived. Lovely rooftop terrace to chill out on too when you fancy some quite time and to admire the view across the mountains! Spotlessly clean everywhere in the house. It was a pleasure to stay there and I would highly recommend to groups of friends, family etc. Heather also provided a pick up and drop off service for us from the house to the bus stop in the village with our luggage and also offered to take us to the supermarket. You will not be disappointed if you book this house, its absolutely stunning. Happy holidays. Thank you Heather :)

Location

From the Owner

Having lived as a child in Spain in the seventies, it was always a dream to return here, I travelled from the Costa Brava to the Costa Del Sol looking at various locations, and on immediately entering Torrox I felt as if I had been here before. I think it's the fact that Torrox is a working Spanish village, always with life and action. With neighbours so kind and hospitable it makes living here very easy. 5 Minutes by car to the Costa where you can enjoy the beaches and med. It offers you everything and also has the title of the best climate in Europe so let's face it who wouldn't want to live here?

Facilities

From the Owner

Having built and designed the house with an architect, allot of thought has went into the floor plan giving all three bedrooms their own bathrooms and the house offers three different lounges. Plenty of space for a large family or three different couples. The unique wrap round terrace adjacent to the kitchen makes dining alfresco a joy.

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: The master bedroom has an open fire place, 3 balconets, walk in closet and en-suite with jazcuzzi, furnished elegantly. Bedroom no.2 has it's own entrance and access to ground floor terrace, again en-suite and modern furniture with large built in closets. Bedroom no.3 is on the first floor, with balcony and views to mountains and village, an ideal child's room. Bedroom no.4 is on the 3rd floor and adjacent to the roof terrace. I have tried to style and furnish the house like a small hotel giving every room privacy and space, I will always leave the house with the basics ie. cleaning material, soap powder, toilet paper, and kitchen essentials like oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, and fresh bread, milk and butter so that you can at least have some toast and a cup of tea before you have to go out and shop, what I believe are the basic essentials. Outside: Outside wraparound terrace with stone BBQ and seating area for up to eight making dining alfresco easy and pleasurable. Utility Room: Dishwasher, Ironing Board, Vacuum Cleaner etc Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels included with extra set supplied for 2 week bookings (please bring own beach towels). The house will be cleaned weekly for all guests at no extra charge. I will also leave the house with all the basic essentials.
