About sarah

My husband and I bought this stunning plot of land in 1995, we designed and built the house which now stands on the land. It is a pocket of paradise, and anyone who comes is moved by the beauty of the place. I am never happier than when I am here enjoying the peace and unique energy of this extraordinary place.

We now have three luxuryyurts as additional accommodation for guests

sarah purchased this house in 1994

Why sarah chose Glastonbury

The property lies in an unusually secluded location, but is easily accessible and within an 8 minute drive or 20 minute cylce from the historical town of Glastonbury. Very quiet and private with stunning views,it is a fantastic and beautiful base for exploring the south west of England.

What makes this house unique

This property is unlike any other, its location is absolutely unique and the reason why we were so lucky to buy the plot of land in the 1990s.We went on to design and build the house and landscape the gardens and orchard surrounding the house. The property suits people who want to have a beautiful and serene base from which to explore this wonderful area. There are endless things to do and discover in the local area, however I also encourage guests to relax at the property and let it work its magic. We have a prolific bird life around the property( including a stunning barn owl) deer, badgers and fox are amongst the wildlife who live as our neighbours

Guestbook comments from the owner

What a fantastic place you have, thank you Sarah so much for letting us share a little piece of paradise.

We were overwhelmed by the night sky and how dark it gets here in the countryside, the stars were incredible, we took a while to get used to not having any light pollution.

Thank you for our wonderful stay in your lovely apartment. We really enjoyed our stay and you will be our first choice when we come back to the area.

"We really enjoyed our stay - the location is fabulous and we got more relaxed by the day It felt like we had the place to ourselves, it was peaceful and you were unobtrusive. The garden is lovely and having all the facilities of Glastonbury on the doorstep, whilst not being in an urban setting, was wonderful. The flowers and scones were much appreciated."

our stay and are feeling refreshed and relaxed. It is definitely our first choice when we next visit the area.

Beautiful property, we will definitely be recommending you to our friends, thank you.
