Family Villa within walking distance to Puerto Pollensa, peaceful Location,with Stunning Surrounding Mountains Views, Close to all Amenitie

Ideal for family holidays, this is a wonderful typical Mallorquin farmhouse, full of traditional features, lovingly restored. The villa has a large garden with pool set in over 4 acres of private land located in open countryside and benefits from some of the most stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The villa offers accommodation for up to 8 people all on one level, it is in an excellent location a short drive to Pollensa and a 35 minute walk into Puerto Pollensa on its newly constructed walkway. A regular bus service just a 15 minute stroll away operates to Pollensa, the port and Palma.

About Rachael

Over a number of years our family have enjoyed returning to Majorca for our holidays and fell in love with the Island, which is why in December 2009 we bought this property, it is in our preferred location between Pollensa and the port, very peaceful, rural but close to all amenities.

We have lovingly restored this Old Finca, keeping many of its original features, whilst adding more modern requirements such as air-conditioning.

Our Villa is within walking distance of Puerto Pollensa which we have done many times with the children, it was an extremely pleasant and safe walk with some fantastic scenery on the way.

In such a short space of time our villa has become our home away from home and we really hope that you enjoy your stay.

Why Rachael chose Pollença District

We love this area for the dramatic scenery, you can see snow on the distant mountains in the winter months (it rarely gets to the low land) There is easy access on good roads (not tracks) to the villa's location and all local amenities. The villa is very private, not overlooked but not remote, its nearest neighbours are animals, however there are human neighbours close by too. We have visited this area on holiday numerous times, the local people have always been very friendly.

This is a location we will always want to return to year after year.

This villa is ideal for families with children, family groups and also seniors as all the accommodation is on one level. N.B Bedroom 4 is accessed via the pool terrace, the villa benefits from air-conditioning throughout, and heating when required in cooler months. Internet is available albeit not guaranteed (limited monthly downloads) additional hub can be purchased for use during your stay if required. Smoking is Not allowed inside the property. The villa is set in the corner of over 4 acres of private land, this is fully accessible to explore and take in the fantastic surrounding mountain views. There are also many fruit and almond trees scattered throughout the garden. A large covered terrace accessed via the lounge/dining room overlooks the patio, pool and rear garden, a selection of comfortable outdoor furniture is provided with a BBQ to enjoy 'alfresco' dining in this wonderful peaceful, private setting. Sunbeds adorn the patio surrounding the pool. Swimming pool: 8m x 4m depth: 1.2m - 2m. access: Roman steps. Utility Room: Washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and Towels are included. Changed and cleaned weekly. Beach/pool towels are not included. Additional maid services can be paid for locally but must be pre-arrange

Clean, well equipped

Had a great stay with family for 2 weeks. Any issues we had were dealt with promptly and pool was regularly cleaned. Would advise hiring extra WiFi - we used multi hire who were ok. Had a couple of WiFi issues but they helped over the phone. Would recommend C'an Petit Hort and would use again!

Great house, nice pool and good location

We were two families with four kids in the age 4-7 years old. They loved the pool and the garden around. We appreciated the calm location withdrawn from the busy areas, and still only ten minutes away from the beach with car. Good kitchen and nice aircondition in all rooms. We used the bbq a lot of evenings. A great house to stay with kids.

Wonderful Family Villa

Fabulous villa perfect for a family break! Close to Porta Pollenca & Pollenca yet still secluded enough to hide yourself away.

Outdoor area perfect & lovely rooms with comfy beds & linen throughout. Would recommend to any family or even 2 families looking for a relaxing break in the sun in the best part of the island by far! Looking forward to our next visit!

Good family villa

Great location with easy access to port, old town and Cala San Vicente. Private, comfy, relaxing outside seating area with BBQ. Kitchen facilities were excellent - kids loved the ice maker! Comfy beds and well maintained bathroom facilities with soft & big bath towels. Paddock area set up with volleyball net. (Separate newly renovated ensuite double only accessible from poolside - not used by us but would be great to stick the grandparents or older teenagers in.) Very efficient, English speaking management company on hand. Owner very friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely holiday here and would recommend this property.

Great House

Fantastic stay at this property. Very private, easy to find from airport, but a good central location between towns.

Facilities were excellent, great kitchen, good sized bedrooms, and a lovely pool set in nice grounds. Clean and well maintained, and great customer service from owner. Fantastic island to explore. Would highly recommend, and would have no hesitation in returning in the future.

Car: recommended


The beautiful resort of Puerto Pollensa with its lovely beaches, shops, restaurants and bars, is a 5 minute drive or 35 minute walk along a constructed walkway. Cala san Vicente is approx 8km and the Old town of Alcudia and its port are approximately 15 minutes drive. A regular ferry service goes from Puerto Pollensa to Formentor beach plus other routes, we would highly recommend you to hire a car to explore this wonderful island and its many pristine quiet beaches.


Palma Airport is approx 45 minutes (58km) .Transfers can be arranged approx cost 80 euros.

Car hire is recommended, and can be arranged at either the airport or locally in Pollensa or Puerto Pollensa. Regular bus service 15 min stroll away can take you to many destinations including the historic town Pollensa, Puerto Pollensa and Palma.

It is worth noting that Majorca is a fabulous place to explore by bike, it offers a wide range of gentle to medium cycle routes all superbly signposted.


Palma approx 58km.

Puerto Pollensa approx 3.5km.

Pollensa approx 6km.

Alcudia approx 13km.

Further Details:

The supermarkets in Puerto Pollensa are good, we would highly recommend that you purchase local produce and olives at the markets, on Sunday til 2pm in Pollensa and in Puerto Pollensa on Wednesday til 2pm, parking can sometimes be a waiting game so get there early or go by bus.

There are many restaurants in Puerto Pollensa and Pollensa to satisfy everyones taste and pocket and almost all are extremely child friendly offering specific menus for children.

Food essentials can be arranged for your arrival in the villa, if you are arriving on a late flight.

Additional services, cots and highchairs are available to hire.

and excursions etc can be booked through our local contact.

For your peace of mind during your holiday, there is a local contact who provides 24hr 7days emergency assistance.
