Fantastic, spacious, cleans and welcoming villa
Firstly great directions found it without much trouble (even in the dark). Arrived to a small welcome pack which was very much appreciated as we had missed the shops. The villa was very clean inside and out. well stocked (especially the kitchen) Sunny back garden and pool area great for soaking up the sun all day. The pool was cool in October but more than comfortable for swimming. we found the area very peaceful and well located for sightseeing and exploring the local area. We would highly recommend this villa and will be returning next year. Thank you Bill and Anne for keeping such a lovely villa and thanks to John for the snorkelling tips. We visited a couple of the restaurants in Peyia (The Peyia Tavern and Saavas Grill for the music night) Both served great food and provided excellent service. would recommend both.
Good sized villa, very comfortable and well located. We really appreciated the large shaded area to sit under. The pool was the perfect temperature in July. Nice quite location, but reasonably quick to get anywhere.
John, who cleaned the pool, was very friendly and helpful.
The perfect place for a relaxing holiday.
Very Good Accommodation
Carole and I found Pyromachi Villa ideal. The villa was well equipped and in a very peaceful part of Pageia, no through traffic (unless you count the goats). It is within easy reach of shops, bars and restaurants within the village and just a five minute drive fom a greater selection in Coral Bay (bus services are also available)The owners Bill and Anne are very accommodating and did all they could to make our stay a happy one.
Will we go back? YOU BETCHA!
this villa is probably the best equipped villa we have stayed in.it has everything you may need for a relaxing holiday and is excellent value for money.
Activity and Interests
The main tourist beach at Coral Bay is 10 minutes away by car. Watersports, 2 beach bars, and plentiful bars and restaurants cater for all your needs.
Paphos boasts a small harbour area with a number of cafes and restaurants. Boat excursions can be booked in advance; the municipal beaches are quiet with their own charm.
Cyprus is famous for its many and varied beaches. The beach at Polis reached through the forest has its own charm! It's only 30 minutes away. Go explore!
Car hire is essential to make the most of your holiday. Hertz, Europcar, Avis, Budget and Sixt among others operate at Paphos International Airport. We recommend car hire from the airport. The villa is a 45 minutes drive from the airport via Paphos and the coastal road to Coral Bay, taking a right turn to Peyia, and only a few minutes from the square.
Approx. 1.5 km to the centre of Peyia. 5 km to Coral Bay; Lara Bay 17 km; Paphos 14 km; Akamas National Park 8 km. Polis and Latchi on the north coast are 30 minutes drive away.
WIRELESS BROADBAND IS NOW AVAILABLE. UK FREEVIEW TV ALSO PROVIDED. Table Tennis. PS2 and Wii Games consoles with variety of games. Small varied library of books, including Lonely Planet, and Rough Guides to Cyprus and a Touring Guide to Cyprus. A Welcome pack including all the basics you'll need to settle in and complimentary wine will greet you on arrival. Peyia centre has 2 mini supermarkets, FruitMarket, 2 banks, and a number of tavernas; in Peyia, we particularly recommend Green Hills for the spectacular views, Vrisi Cafe for a modern feel and friendly staff, and le Grande behind the Jail Pub. For a sundowner on the coast Oniros and Sea Caves along from Coral Bay are a must. Paphos is famous for the Roman mosaics next to the harbour, the Tombs of the Kings, and Ayia Kyriaki Church of St. Paul's Pillar. The cafe next to it has an excellent menu! Paphos Harbour offers a variety of boat trips. Near Paphos there is go-karting, and a water park. There is an outdoor bird and animal park (Paphos Zoo) near Coral Bay. Aphrodite's Baths are a pilgrimage for many near Latchi and Polis. The villa is also well situated for mountain excursions to the picturesque villages and monasteries in the Troodos and for expeditions into the Akamas Peninsula. We stock a number of leaflets and tourist information in the villa but we cannot know it all and new places to visit and to eat in appear every year. Cyprus is a small island relatively, and Nicosia is only a two and half to three hour drive away along the modern motorway. Larnaca is about 2 hours away and Ayia Napa about three hours away.
