About the Owner

We are a married couple nearing 50 with kids that are aged from 14 - 21 and close family. We all love visiting Broadstairs whenever we can and use the cottage as a place we can all get together as its spacious enough for that. Gary and his brother bought the cottage very run down and renovated it to a lovely high standard a few years ago. It was unrecognizable as the same place and has a bit of a luxurious feel to it which I love. We know you will love it too! Debbie & Gary

Myself and my family had a very enjoyable holiday last week at Green Cottage. We thought the cottage was lovely, the decor really superb and can appreciate all the thought and hard work gone into making this a beautiful cottage. (Not to mention the cost)! Thank you for letting us use your cottage for our holiday. My family and I spent a week at your house in broadstairs from 21st August - 28th August this summer. May I say what a lovely week we had and how gorgeous the house was.





We had a great few days in Broadstairs and Green Cottage provided us with fantastic accommodation. We found it presented really well and couldnt fault it in any way. Thanks again.

We spent some Nice and interesting days in that lovely place. Everything was fine: a comfortable house, the landscape and surrounding area of Broadstairs and the weather. Best regards!

Green cottage

Spent a lovely bank holiday weekend here with a party of eight. We cannot fault the cottage at all, it was lovely, spacious, well equipped and very close to the beach and local amenities. Parking was not a problem, lots of parking on nearby street. Looking forward to coming back again.

Listing description accurate. Clean but a bit tired. Crockery okay. Dishwasher and oven not working well. Very comfortable beds.,

Loved Broardstairs and being close to the sea. No parking provided.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments. The property is due a refurbishment which will be taking place at the beginning of June 2014 which will also include a new dishwasher and any other repairs required. We will update the website in regard to the parking facilities. Kind regards

The location is second to none in Broadstairs making this a very special cottage indeed. Its so bright and airy tucked down a mews street just a road away from the old town high street and the beach at Viking Bay. Because we are set away from the road its a quiet hideaway with the feel of a tardis inside that the front of the cottage doesn't portray. It has some original features like quaint stained glass windows and also a contemporary feel in the way it is furnished that works well together.

Coast/Beach:

1 min walk to Viking Bay Beach which is the main bay in Broadstairs with a number of facilities such as: Public Toilets, Sunloungers for Hire, Childrens Rides, Lifeguards, Parking, Cafes.

Surf school located at Joss Bay only 2 miles along the coast.

From 1st May - 30th Sept No Dogs Allowed on the Beach

Travel:

Ramsgate Port is 3 miles away - Ferries from Ramsgate to France / Belgium

A car is not necessary as there is a train station in Broadstairs and there are many other transport links such as buses and also taxi's around.

No need to drive once you have unloaded the car as everythings right on your doorstep. Tucked away on a mews street, with a secluded courtyard garden, you can sun yourself with the sounds of seagulls nearby and breath the healing salt air being so close to the beach and without the sound of traffic outside the door. If staying in the ground floor bedroom why not open up your french doors onto the courtyard and relax in bed with the sea breeze fluttering the curtains. If staying in the master bedroom you could take your breakfast on the small balcony, opening up the french doors to the room and letting in the sea air.
