Burgau is a pretty, unspoilt fishing village just 60 minutes away from Faro airport. Burgau offers many small bars and restaurants (26 in total) all in walking distance, beautiful beach and an incredibly friendly atmosphere, absolutely ideal for both young and old. In the surrounding areas the choice of activities is endless. The apartment is part of a self contained complex, Domusiberica and rests just 500 metres from the village centre. The apartment offers all modern facilities and conveniences. It is newly furnished. Domusiberica Burgau Club has its own pool,(covered in low season).

Sue my wife and I live in West Sussex and for several years now have enjoyed our holidays in the Algarve.

Eight years ago we took the plunge and bought our apartment in Burgau. We have many fond memories of times in the apartment as well as in Burgau and the surrounding areas. So much so we have decided to make a further commitment to living in the Algarve and we have now invested in another property, which we call "home". We hope you too will enjoy the Algarve as much as we do.

Fabulous, modern, well equipped apartment.

This was our 3rd stay in Burgau and our first time in this apartment! A gorgeous modern apartment, plenty of space and well equipped.the mid stay clean was much welcomed and the property manager ANA was extremely helpful.

The pool at Tomik is great as is the food and Sangria!! We will definitely be coming back. X

Special interest holidays:

The Algarve offers many activities, ranging from theme parks, water parks, zoos, boat trips, go karting, fabulous walks, horse riding, even a F1 race track.Nearby the Burgau Sports Centre run by super-fit Andy Robinson offers 3 tennis courts, swimming pool, well-equipped gym, two squash courts, table tennis, bar and restaurant. There are regular children's football and tennis coaching sessions.


The Burgau beach is just 5 minutes walk from the apartment, safe bathing, sun beds for hire and a fabulous beach bar. Both east and west of Burgau there are lots of beaches all within a few minutes car ride.


Faro is the nearest airport approximately 60 minutes by road. On booking we provide route maps to Burgau. Taxis, local bus service, are both easily available. We recommend lagorent.com for car hire, ask for either Cristiano or Nuno.
