One of 3 gorgeous top floor penthouse's ( we have 3 so look at our other adverts if this one is full ) (70 and 2@ 100sq metres) apartments in this lovely harbour side complex, not at the top of Cardiac hill! private garage parking available, lift to your door, full air-conditioning, parking in basement. It even has an iPod dock for use with your own iPod/iPhone! Clear panoramic views over the harbour to the Atlantic ocean, cliffs and Islands. Stunning views across the Atlantic ocean from the huge cliffs of Los Gigantes on the right to the harbour and the Island of La Gomera. We are set back from the harbour restaurants and very peaceful. The black/silver sand beach is 1 minute away. Close by are two beautiful public pools, The Oasis complex nearby ( additional folk are extra on the day ) . The Atlantic Ocean 50 yards away at the beach , 2 degree variance year round and is free, we swim daily at the beach even October through to February. Swim with the fishes it's fun!

The kitchen fully equipped with fridge freezer, full sized electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, blender, toaster, kettle, scales, comprehensive crockery, tools and utensils.

The utility area has a supplementary water heater, washing machine, iron /ironing board and 2 hair dryers!

The lounge and dining area has a table for six. Satellite TV (UK channels), DVD/video, plus at least 300 videos/DVDs, electronic safe. The sofa/bed is an invisible part of the furnishings.

Private parking in the secure basement garage accessed by remote control with lifts up to our floor.Weekly all linen and towels /& beach towels are provided, however cots, high chairs and extra foldaway beds are available, hired from our local Manageress. Extra cleaning or linen available

25 October 2009 by Annie, Ireland - Poblado Marinero is a fabulous holiday rental, the views of the harbour are amazing (the sunsets to die for!) and it is a lovely quiet apartment block which is very clean and private. It is also close to restaurants, shops and only a few minutes to the beach. You really couldn't wish for anywhere better. I would highly recommend it for both couples and families.

Our apartment had everything in it that you would wish for and more and it was a home from home experience and if we were to return to Los Gigantes we would diffantly try to book the apartment again. The apartment was close to all amenities restaurants and bars. We would recommend the apartment to friends and relatives.

Location

We fell in love with Gigantes in 1992, its peaceful, sleepy, village feel (and it still is) was such a contrast to Los Christianos where we used to holiday. We stayed in this property in 2004 so a year later when the Holiday Property Bond sold their 12 apartments in this complex chose the best top floor penthouse's , overlooking the courtyard palms, quiet, with great views,

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : 40 mins Reina Sofia ( Tenerife South at 40 Kilometres Nearest Golf : Abama at 15 Kilometres Car: recommended

Special interest holidays:

There are a selection of guided walks which take in the outstanding natural beauty and flora and fauna. Along with many different kinds of boat rides to see dolphins and pilot whales. Bike hire, Parascending, Jet Ski Hire, canoeing, small fishing boat Hire, Big Game Fishing Trips. For the really bold there is Hang Gliding at Adeje, and powered canopies and Hand Gliders, but you need to plan this before you arrive. Geology trips, Gorge walking (Masca). A wealth of flora and fauna to explore. And finally the mighty Teide, best planned on a day when there is no cloud and low winds, it is 12,000 feet high! proper clothing and footwear required.

Coast/Beach:

There is a small black/silver sand beach through your secret rear door (1 min) and the coastal path extends through the village to neighbouring Puerto Santiago/Playa De la Arena.

Travel:

Flights from the UK are to Reina Sofia Tenerife South airport - please phone for advice. Hire car is not essential, but recommended to explore the island. Local Taxis are relatively cheap ( but NOT airport cabs) and there is an excellent bus service. We have a negotiated discount with a local car hire company.

Distances:

The apartment is at the heart next to the harbour of Los Gigantes and a short taxi ride from neighbouring resorts. It is 40-45 minutes from the airport. We can also recommend a competitively priced, safe, well maintained, transfer service.

Further Details:

Shops, bars and restaurants are all within a stone's throw to suit all tastes and budgets. There are several reasonably priced supermarkets in the vicinity. Los Gigantes is served by several banks with cashpoint facilities and credit cards are widely accepted.

All of our 3 properties ( Two* 2 bedroomed penthouses and one * 1 bedroomed penthouse , ) all have a top floor location, spacious design and very Spanish appeal gives Balcony sun from 3 each day till sunset and being elevated you have cool sea breezes when all around are baking! Our full air conditioning completes the picture along with a full spec , all you will need are your clothes and toiletries , everything else is here for you , even a welcome pack for when you arrive !

The utility area has a supplementary water heater, washing machine , iron /ironing board and 2 hair dryers! Yes 2 hair dryers, lots of people ask twice. The lounge and dining area has a table for four. 32" flat screen LED tv, satellite TV (5 UK channels), DVD/video, plus 300 videos/DVD's, electronic safe. Hard drive 3trb with hundreds of progs / films on ( bring your laptop) Outside: Patio and Dining furniture for 6, 2 sun loungers, beach mats, hats! even 2 walking poles (basic). Special shops/beach access! Our special security key gives direct access to rear road/beach (2 mins) and supermarket, take the lift to the basement and open the door to the supermarket (and ice cream parlour) so you can have fresh bread and milk every day without going to the village.
