Peaceful location in Roè Volciano near Salo. Surrounded by 15 acre private meadow and olive groves
The property is situated on the south west coast of Lake Garda, surrounded by a 15 acre private estate of meadow and olive trees, opposite the old roman village of Agneto. It is just minutes away from Salò, an historic old town, embedded in a large bay with the longest promenade of any town on the lake and is ideal for shopping and strolling around.
At the moment we offer one apartment, which is tastefully decorated and has its own private entrance. The house as a whole is composed of four apartments: two on the first floor where the owners live. Aideen lives in one with her husband and two boys. Her sister- and brother-in-law live in the other. The two ground floor apartments are rented out to holiday-makers. Each apartment has its own private entrance and patio.
"Lavanda" caters for 2 to 5 guests.
"Gardenia" will cater for 2 guests but will not be ready for 2017.
Lavanda is situated on the ground floor of the house. The kitchen/living area is south-facing and opens out onto its own large, tiled and covered patio that is furnished with a rattan sofa set and tables and chairs, giving guests the possibility of “al fresco” dining.
Gardenia has yet to be completed.
The large garden is completely enclosed with fencing and an electric gate. A new above-ground 8x4 meter swimming pool is located in the front garden.

About the Owner
My name is Aideen and I've been living in Italy since 1993. I live here with my Italian husband, our two children, Luigi (13 yrs) and Liam (10 yrs), my brother-in-law and his wife. Each year, in November, we harvest our olives and produce our own olive oil. We love living here, my husband was born and grew up here so we couldn't imagine living anywhere else. We enjoy gardening, like having our own fresh vegetables, fruit and a daily supply of organic eggs.

“We were lucky to inherit our property, which we have been improving on, each year, since 2000. I love this area because we're so close to the lake but at the same time we can fully relax in our garden, away from all the hustle and bustle. We haven't built walls around our house because we prefer the view we have, fields, olive trees and Agneto, the tiny Roman village just opposite. We have tried to make our property as comfortable as possible and there is a good selection of reading material for our guests.”

Oliveto Holiday Apartments are just 2 km away from the beaches of Lake Garda.
Brescia airport 30 mins by car. Bergamo 1hr by car. Milan Linate 90 mins by car. Verona airport 1 hr by car.
Oliveto is just 2 km away from Lake Garda and for those interested in sports, a sports centre with tennis courts is just a walk away. The bank, post-office, chemist and supermarket are just a few minutes from the house by car. Central location for visiting Verona, Bergamo, Brescia and in winter ski resorts are a little over 1hr by car. All in walking distance: pizzeria/ristorante that serves excellent seafood, a caffe with fresh pastries and a birreria that also serves food.
Italy is famous for its cooking and we will be pleased to indicate several excellent restaurants just minutes away by car.

A deposit of 50% is required on booking. The remainder to be settled in cash on day of arrival. Credit cards are not accepted.
Changeover in summer months is on Saturday, check out between 9.30 and 10am and check in between 2.30 and 6pm, flexible at other times.
Notes on prices:
Lavanda: prices shown are per week and include electricity, water, gas, 1 auto parking, final cleaning on departure. Bed linen and towels: €10/person.
Margherita: prices shown are per week, in summer months include bed linen/towels, electricity, water, gas, 1 auto parking, final cleaning on departure, in winter months gas is charged separately (meter reading).
We ask that the kitchen area is left clean in both apartments. 100 euros security deposit is requested on arrival.
