The property is designed throughout with comfort in mind. Offering a peaceful, secure location, the apartment is ideal for families and golfers, with a furnished terrace and large private roof solarium with table, chairs and loungers, a barbecue and stunning views across the golf course, orange groves and Mar Menor. The apartment is fully air-conditioned and has free private wireless internet access. The resort has 24 hour security and the clubhouse has a bar and restaurant. The white sandy beaches of the Mar Menor, and the shops/restaurants/bars of Los Alcazares are only 5 minutes drive away. Notes on accommodation: The property is fully air-conditioned and centrally heated making it ideal for allround year use. A cot and high chair can be provided at an additional cost on request. The resort is gated, with controlled access, and 24 hour security. Free wireless internet access is available in the apartment. Please note that this is a non smoking apartment. Outside: The apartment is surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens and one of the many large communal pools sits below. A large terrace is located from the living room with a table and chairs for 4 people. The penthouse also has a roof top solarium with a Pergola and spectacular views across the golf course, orange groves and over to La Manga in the Mar Menor. The rooftop comes complete with sun loungers, a large glass table with 6 chairs, 2 large chairs, a barbecue and a fridge. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment will be cleaned prior to your arrival and all linen and towels (except beach towels) will be provided. There is an additional end of rental cleaning charge of £50. Other: Large private rooftop solarium with table, chairs, loungers, barbecue, fridge and stunning views across the golf course, orange groves and Mar Menor. There is a large pergola, which provides a shaded area. Access to the rooftop solarium is via a spiral staircase

Fantastic property. Very close to beautiful beaches. Bus service available from the complex if you don't hire a car. Great for families.

Another fantastic holiday in a gorgeous place

I can't give this apartment enough praise. This time my friend came with me and she has mobility problems, it was no hassle at all and we hired a wheel chair from Roda FM. As usual the apartment was immaculate and there was a lovely bottle of bubbly to welcome us. We hired a car this time too so got to see more of this beautiful area, we went to La Manga and to a lovely beach in the mountains. Also had a mud bath at Lo Pagan which is a must for anyone with any muscular or arthritical issues. The rooftop terrace is amazing and we spent many a relaxing day up there. My son and my friend loved it too and I'm sure they will be wanting to come back with us again. Thank you Tony for such an amazing holiday. We will be back.

Beautiful apartment with gorgeous views

It was our 3rd year at Los Alcazares but 1st at Roda resort and we will definitely be back. The apartment is very well equipped with all home comforts and very well maintained. The roof terrace is amazing, I spent a lot of time up there. There is a bbq and a fridge which we also made use of - perfect - we absolutely loved this place. The communal pool was lovely and quiet this time of year and not too cold either. There are points of contact with Roda FM and nothing is too much trouble for them. Lidl and Consume are the local supermarkets, you will need a car or taxi to bring a big shop back as its a bit of a walk. We had breakfast in the square a few times at Pennyfarthing as they have cold air sprays which is a well needed perk in the hot weather, the breakfasts are tasty too. We have been back for 3 days now and we already have our deposit back. Excellent service we would highly recommend this apartment to couples and families. If you don't like walkin then a car would be an advantage however the local taxis are very good, they all speak English and we never had to wait longer than 5 minutes after calling them. Perfect property

We stayed at this property in the summer of 2014 and had a fantastic time. The apartment is very well furnished and equipped with everything you could need. The sun terrace is wonderful at meal times not to mention the great pool which was our boys' favourite. The airport is just a short drive away and Los Alcazares is just 2 mins away where you'll find some brilliant bars and restaurants. This property really does feel like a home from home and we loved it that much that we've already booked for this summer but this time we're staying longer!

Location

Coast/Beach:

The resort is approximately 1.5km from the golden sandy beach of Los Alcazares, which has an attractive promenade close to the town centre with many top class restaurants along the way. The Mar Menor is a salt water lagoon it is very shallow, child friendly and perfect for water sport activities such as sailing, fishing, water skiing and scuba diving. The beaches are blue flag and are very flat for evening walks.

Travel:

The resort is conveniently located only a 10 minute drive from Murcia (San Javier) Airport, which is serviced by many budget airlines from the UK. A car is fully recommended to enjoy this beautiful region, and there are a number of car hire companies located at the airport. Airport pick ups can also be arranged if required. Alicante Airport is about a 50 minutes drive.

Mar Menor beaches - 5 mins.

Los Alcazares bars/restaurants/banks - 5 mins.

Historical port and city of Cartagena - 20 mins.

Further Details:

There is a small shop on site for essentials and there are a number of large supermarkets as well as lot of local shops in nearby Los Alcazares. The best shopping centres are at Dos Mares, San Pedro, La Zenia Boulevard and Espacio Mediterraneo, Cartagena, There are a number of fine restaurants in the Los Alcazares area, most of these have outdoor dining areas in a pedestrianised Bistro area, as well as the normal indoor facilities. The water and the mud in the Mar Menor have a high concentration of minerals which has been found to carry healing powers for people suffering arthritis, rheumatism, tendinitis, and joint ailments, and skin ailments.
