Villa in Sugar Hill, St James, Barbados. Fantastic location, only minutes Drive to Beach, Golf Course and shops

Luxury villa with sea views. 31/2 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities plus downstairs cloakroom. Sleeps 6 plus 2 children. Fantastic location near to fabulous Bajan beaches, sensational Royal Westmoreland Golf Course and the shopping/nightlife of Holetown. Part of the small but exclusive Sugar Hill development. During your stay you will have access to all facilities including the 2000sq.ft infinity pool, 4 flood light tennis courts, gymnasium, restaurant and bar, plus use of The Royal Westmoreland beach club at Mullins beach where you will have the use of dedicated beach chairs and umbrellas, use of private restrooms and on site parking. Drinks, snacks and meals are available on the beach or at the beach restaurant.

The two upstairs bedrooms have private balconies and wonderful views of the Caribbean Ocean. The master bedroom has a dressing area and large bathroom with bath and shower cubicle. The second bedroom has twin beds but can be made up as a queensize if requested and a shower room.

Downstairs the bedroom has a queensize bed, shower room and doors open into the annexe containing bunk beds for two children.

All bedrooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans.

The living space includes dining area and lounge with comfortable seating, ceiling fans, and Wi-Fi. The TV receives all English programmes via the Internet and is similar to the SKY system in the UK (good for keeping the children entertained).

A new modern kitchen has just been installed with dishwasher and microwave and leads to an outside utility area, also a laundry room with washer and dryer and staff quarters for the housekeeper who will be available two days a week to change your bed linen and do your personal washing.

The outside terrace is accessed from the lounge or children's annexe. The dining area (with gas barbecue) is protected by a screen with a gate to protect children from accessing the sun deck and splash pool. 4 sun loungers are available on the sun deck. This area is due to be refurbished in the near future.

Beyond is a lawned area for communal use by the houses in the immediate area.

We bought in this location as we have great views of the ocean and within minutes from beaches, Holetown, golf courses etc and the facilities on the development are fantastic.

Activity and Interests


There are several beaches that are very close. Mullins Beach is the one I would use given that any of our guests can use the Spa facilities there. This is about 5 mins drive. There are closer public beaches in Holetown which are about a 2 or 3 minute drive.


Grantley Adams airport is the main airport that serves Barbados is is around 30 mins drive away. Transport is very easily organised should you need transfers to or from the airport.


Holetown is the nearest town. This is about 2 or 3 minutes away. Holetown is full of shops, beaches and restaurants. Most notably a new shopping mall has just been built with names such Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren to name but a few of the shop that feature.
