Apartment in Old Town Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote, Canary Islands - Peaceful Location within Walking Distance of All Amenities

Welcome pack on arrival.The apartment comes with all modern conveniences including oven, hob, fridge, microwave, toaster ,washing machine etc. so if you choose to eat in, all is at your disposal! Towels and sheets are supplied. To make the most of the stunning sea and harbour views we have fitted a new patio door which extends across the entire width of the lounge/kitchen. You can sit on the spacious balcony and watch the sunset over Fuerteventura. There is a satellite TV installed and the apartment has TV, DVD and a selection of books and DVDs for guest use. This is our holiday home and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Please respect it and treat it as you would your own. In the interest of non-smokers, please do not smoke inside the apartment - smoking on the balcony only.

Notes:
Notes on accommodation: The Complex - The portonova apartments are now all privately owned so you can relax at the large communal pool with ample sun loungers! The pool area is south facing so has sun all day and a 180 degree Sea View. The apartment would suit couples and families. Sorry but we do not cater for teenage groups! Cleaning / Towels / Linen: Towels and sheets are supplied and changed once a week.

Very comfortable and roomy

It was everything we expected and more. Clean comfortable and a great view. We had the good fortune to meet the owners Hilary and Pat who were charming. The beds were super comfy and the washing machine was a huge bonus as we were there for a month. The kitchen was more than adequate and the welcome pack settled us right in

Lanzarote Old Town Harbour

Phoned Morag as instructed when we arrived. Morag said she wasn't expecting us, told her it had been booked and paid for since May. She said she would need to go and clean. We went into town and had food and wandered around a while. When we got to the complex we were greeted by Morag who was pleasant but a little unprofessional. After showing us the apartment and handing over the keys she was gone. The apartment was very nice great for the two of us and the views are lovely but I think the cleaning had been done very hastily. We weren't warned either about the invasion of ants in the kitchen which was an obvious problem as there were several cans of ant powder and spray in the cupboard which we had to use twice a day to stop the pests ruining the groceries in the cupboards and on the side. Disappointed that the pool bar was permanently closed. Surrounding area was lovely lots of nice restaurants and bars and we enjoyed walking into the main town to the many bars and restaurants and shops. Lovely location and would recommend. We had a lovely holiday.

Beautiful apartment

Fantastic apartment. Exactly as described. Great communication with the owner Hilary. Morag who looks after the apartment was there to greet us. Lovely friendly person. Welcome pack bottle of wine, milk, water, biscuits etc was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. We had lovely neighbors next door who live there Lisa and Mick. Realy lovely friendly couple.The complex is lovely . Always sunbeds available. The apartment has everything you need and so cosy . A real home from home. Beds very comfy. Spotless clean. I would highly recomend this beautiful apartment to anyone. We will deffinitly return again . Thanks again Hilary . Yvonne and Greg

Fab apartment in great location

Most enjoyable stay in one of Hilary's apartments. It was very clean, well equipped, comfortable accommodation and the complex was very well maintained, with lovely pool and had no problem acquiring sunbeds any time of day. We were meet by Morag, a very nice and Informative lady and we also had lovely neighbours, Lisa & Mick, who lived there permanently. The apartments are well located to supermarkets and restaurants in and around the harbour. We highly recommend Emma's Mexican and the Cass Cabana restaurant, the food was so good, we booked to go back to each one again during our weeks stay. We would definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends to stay, perfectly located for relaxing holiday.

Stayed for nine nights ,great location,beautiful views, superb place to just chill!! Accomodation is great, very clean and we also met Morag who does the cleaning,who made us very welcome and also gave us a welcome pack.certainly recommend

Comfortable,clean,homely apartment with great view

Location good, could prove a problem for those with walking difficulties. Apartment very clean, Moragh was very helpful give us loads of information about the surrounding area,but found the pine wooden headboard and tables in the bedroom a bit dated. This apartment has everything u need for a break away I did miss bbc1 and itv. Great view from the balcony. Good restaurants very close. The welcome pack was a lovely touch so thanks especially the wine 😋 We had a lovely week Ta

Location

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

Portonovo is 12 mins walk to the beach.

Travel:

Both Ryanair and Are Lingus fly into Arecife Lanzarote. The airport is just 10 mins drive to Portonovo Complex. Car hire is not essential but recommended if you would like to tour the Island.

Distances:

The airport is only a 10 minute drive away and has taxis readily available, costing around €15. Car hire is also available at the airport.

Further Details:

The apartment is extremely well located in the old town of Puerto Del Carmen. It is only a minutes walk to all the facilities such as cafe bars, restaurants, shops, harbour etc.
