La Casa de Aguila The House of the Eagle. Stunning, private and spacious Villa with amazing views of Gibraltar and even the snow capped Atlas mountains on a clear day. The villa offers a quiet retreat from the rushing pace of the Costa del Sol but is in easy reach of the bright lights of Puerto Banus, Marbella and the Soto Grande area. With four double/twin rooms with en suite bath rooms the villa can comfortably sleep 8 and has all the modern facilities you would expect including a private solar heated swimming pool. All bedrooms and living rooms have ceiling fans. A car is essential (easily hired at the airport) as the Villa is situated in the countryside up a winding and in some places steep concrete/dirt road. It is at the top of a wooded valley with a small scattering of other villas around. This makes the villa ideal for those who like to take life at their own pace and make their own entertainment yet have all the amenities of the Costa del Sol on their doorstep.

Up with the eagles

Very spacious and well appointed house with fabulous views to the coast, Africa and Gibraltar. We loved the pool and outside seating area. The house was well equipped and everything was spotlessly clean. Fantastic communication from David and Yolanda. Highly recommended!

A different view every day

This has to be one of the best view’s we’ve had, every day as we looked over at the Gibraltar rock the view would vary. So beautiful and quiet, albeit very close to the old charming town of Casares. Lots of restaurants locally. You do need a car to get around. The house is a little tired but still beautiful and full of character, well equipped with a good sized pool was everything we needed. Fully recommend visiting and we would definitely revisit.

Family Home

Property had everything we needed. Wonderful secluded location with stunning views and excellent centre for local mountain walking, birdwatching and Atlantic beach visits. Attractive village of Casares only 10 mins drive and even possible to walk via a local track.

A week in the hills of Casares

Exceeded our expectations! Comfortable, clean and secluded, lovely surroundings and a fine view of Gib, the Med & Morocco. A sign of a successful stay is when you come away wishing to return in the future.

Beautiful Villa, lovely area

The villa is secluded and very private yet, only 10-15 minutes from the beach and shops. The bedrooms are large each with their own bathroom. The living space is nice and airy and the pool is perfect. This is a real gem of a place.

I live in England with my wife, 3 children, horses, dogs and chickens! The family business of Haddonstone keeps me fairly busy in the UK and beyond.

Why they chose this property

The house was built by my Father in 1990 and is now owned by myself and my two sisters. We all have children between 10 and 28 and really enjoy family holidays at the Villa with our friends. It is a place to quickly unwind away from the rush of real life elsewhere. The isolation and quietness of the property are its real winners but near enough to good restaurants, beaches, golf courses or the night life of Puerto Banus and Marbella if you so want.
