Located in the old fishermans' quarter of the Port de Soller, our spacious two-bedroom cottage with roof terrace is in a row of stone houses tucked away in a peaceful street just a single flight of steps away from the vibrant waterfront of the Port with its many fish restaurants and cafes. While all the fittings and furnishings in the cottage are brand new and very stylish, from the walk-in stone shower to the comfortable leather sofas, the cottage retains its original charm with wood-beamed ceilings and ceramic tiled floors. The terminal for the trams to Soller is just a two minute walk away. All UK freeview TV channels are available.

Coast/Beach:

The harbourfront with cafes and restaurants is a one minute walk away. Repic beach, suitable for bathing, is a fifteen minute walk away around the waterfront. Sun loungers can be hired and shower facilities available by the beach.

Travel:

The cottage is a half hour drive from Palma airport. Car hire is recommended but not essential as Port de Soller is an excellent transport hub with bus, boat, tram and train all available. Taxi from the airport to the cottage is about 45 euros one way. There is plenty to see and do, on foot, in the Port, the surrounding countryside, and the charming town of Soller (a fifteen minute ride away by tram).

A special day out - by wooden tram from the Port to Soller and then by wooden train from Soller through the mountains to Palma. see more details on our own website.

Along the coast - a scenic drive to Deia (half an hour) and Valdemossa (another half hour), stopping off to enjoy the scenery or for lunch.

Further Details:

There are several supermarkets in the Port, including one at the bottom of the street where you can buy fresh bread and croissants. There is an internet shop in the Port, five minutes walk away. Soller has a daily covered market and a lively and colourful Saturday Market throughout the town centre.

  • Notes on accommodation: The cottage is very well-equipped with kitchen utensils, films, books and guidebooks. A complementary bottle of Cava and tin of olives for your arrival, with a half litre of milk and a large bottle of drinking water. A stylish modern Jotul wood-burning stove - with full instructions for use - and a supply of logs (in winter). The air-conditioning units can also be used as warm air heaters. Portable electric radiators, fan heater, heated towel rail. Outside: There is a small outside patio area on the ground floor with dining table. The delightful top floor room has large glass sliding doors onto a roof terrace with comfortable outside furniture and beautiful views across the harbour to the mountains. The harbour waterfront with many public benches is one minutes walk from the cottage. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Egyptian cotton towels and top-quality bedlinen provided for your stay. The cottage will be cleaned and prepared ready for you and then cleaned after you leave. Changes of towels/bedlinen will be provided for stays of more than a week. All in the price. Other: The bright, stylish top floor room has air-conditioning, a summer kitchen, small dining table and chairs, L-shaped linen sofa with stunning mountain, harbour views. There is a roof terrace with table and chairs suitable for breakfast or an evening drink.
