My name is Tanya and my husband, John and I have three young children. We Have recently relocated from Oxfordshire to Devon. John works as an IT Programme Manager in Romania. We bought our apartment before visiting the island but after staying there shortly after fell in love with the place and the people.

Why Tanya Addis chose Mandria

We wanted a place to go with good temperatures all year round. Although the flight is lengthy (4.5 hours) it is worth every minute. Cyprus (a former British colony) is beautiful and the people are so friendly. They want to get to know you. It is a bi-lingual country (Greek-English), they drive on the left hand side of the road and the currency is Euro. The apartment is situated in a typical Cypriot village, Mandria and you feel part of the community but you are only a 5 minute drive away from Paphos airport. Mandria is such a peaceful village but the local Tavernas (300 metres away) sell fantastic food, with cafes, supermarket and a fish and chip shop in the village. You can go to Paphos 15km away or Limassol 60km away for more lively nightlife.

What makes this apartment unique

Being so close to the airport is fantastic as it makes the overall journey seem so much shorter. You feel part of the Cypriot community staying in a small village and the resort is very peaceful with no bars or clubs anywhere nearby. The apartment is on a corner giving it a large dual aspect balcony which you can really stretch out on with 2 loungers, dining for 6 and a contemporary singing egg chair. The apartment is fully air conditioned so perfect for the hot summer. It is suitable for children and the 2 large swimming pools cater for this. The added luxury of the complex is the health spa with gym, sauna, steam room, relaxation areas and gorgeous treatments (extra cost) by experienced therapists. Membership to health spa included in the price.

Notes on accommodation: Air-conditioning in every room. Large swimming pool suitable for children. You can access the Internet via the purchase of Tickets available from the management office on site. The cost is €5 per day, €30 per week and €50 for 1 month. Alternatively there is free Wifi access from some of the cafes and restaurants in the local square. Outside: 2 swimming pools surrounded by pretty gardens, shared with rest of resort (approximately 30 apartments on resort). Small play area for children. The pools have umbrellas and loungers surrounding them. The apartment balcony is dual aspect looking over the pools and over to the sea, dining table and seating for 6, 2 comfortable loungers, contemporary swinging egg chair. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen included, changed weekly (charge for mid-stay clean). Please bring own beach towels. Perfect for Families

Spacious, modern apartment with all the mod-cons. The air con was a real blessing. The pool was fantastic, perfect for young children and we appreciated the fact that there was a separate pool for those who wanted an uninterrupted swim!

The staff were friendly and helpful and the village was a very short walk.

Perfect Appartment For Our Girlie Weekend

I have just come back from this apartment in Pathos and am already planning my trip for next year. Just minutes from the airport, it was perfect for our weekend away - no lengthy transfer to contend with. The instructions for getting to the complex were clear and we were in within 40 minutes of landing! The spotlessly clean apartment is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and felt very luxurious. It would be impossible to run out of wardrobe space! The wraparound balcony was perfect for breakfast overlooking the pool or sundowners after a hard day of sun bathing. The luxurious feel continued down by the pool where the sun loungers were in abundance, the grounds immaculately kept and the atmosphere sophisticated. The village is just a short stroll away where you can pick up all the essentials, as well as have a meal and a drink. It was perfect for 3 busy mums away for the weekend without the children - and we are looking forward to next year already!

A perfectly located apartment situated 10 minutes from Paphos & a couple of minutes’ walk from the village centre of Mandria & the lovely restaurants. The apartment itself is equipped to a very high standard, with everything you could wish for – air conditioning in all rooms, a beautiful balcony overlooking the two pools, spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is again equipped to a very high standard, the property itself is like a brand-new home.

The Aphrodite Sands complex is perfect, just the right size not to be overcrowded nor too quiet. The two pools are kept spotlessly clean, and the added benefit of the gym & spa provides further options. Going back for the fourth time this year – it’s just perfect….

Superb apartment

Stayed at the apartment for 10 days. Had a fantastic holiday. The apartment is very light and spacious, well decorated and has plenty of mod cons and amenities.

The complex and apartment are both impeccably clean and the pools are fantastic.

The apartment is suitable for families or couples wanting to share some time away together. Would highly recommend staying here. Very easy access to the apartment from the airport - very short transfer time. With a few tavernas and shops in the local village there's no need for a car unless you want to explore more of the island.

10 minutes walk to the beautiful unspoilt coastline. Sandy beach 5 minutes drive and other sandy beaches nearby, transport is necessary.


Car hire not essential but recommended if you want to explore the area. Paphos airport is a 5 minute drive away with car hire companies a plenty and airport taxis available (though these can be expensive). Airport transers from 18 Euros can be arranged.


The apartment is located in the pretty and friendly village of Mandria. Mandria is situated in the South of the island just 10km from Paphos city, 100km from the capital, Niccosia. Paphos has a large Carrefour (supermarket) and English shops including Marks and Sencers, Debenhams, Next. Beautiful fresh fish restaurants, boat hire, diving, fishing. Limassol is a 40 minute drive East along the coast, here you will find beautiful gardens and play equipment for children, a zoo and sandy beaches.

Further Details:

300 metres from the apartment is the square in Mandria. There are 3 restaurants serving excellent food and drink and 2 cafes open all year around, a fish and chip shop serving delicious food, a cafe and a supermarket open until around 9pm every day. ATM and local bank. Petrol station and larger supermarket for fresh produce just outside the village on the main road.
