Apartment in Vinaros, Costa del Azahar, Valencia, Spain - Peaceful Location in Beautiful Surroundings

The apartment has two double bedrooms one en-suite and a separate bathroom, both have mirrored wardrobes and one has doors out on to the balcony. The apartment has a large lounge/dining area, fully glazed in with sliding doors that lead on to a large balcony, which overlooks the golf course, a private pool, and lovely mature gardens. The kitchen is fully equipped and leads on to a separate laundry room. The apartment is on the second floor and is detached to all four exterior walls. It is fully air conditioned throughout. The apartment has its own parking space. The apartment is situated on the 15th hole and the club house, which can be seen from the terrace, is only a few minutes walk across the fairway. There are several restaurants and shops located on the complex, and the clubhouse has a restaurant and coffee shop. The apartment is looked after by our management team who can be contacted if required.

About Karen Scott

We are Karen and Steve Scott. We both play golf but having the apartment for us is more about getting away and relaxing, and not necessarily having to grace the fairways. We use the apartment ourselves and quite a few of our friends, golfers and otherwise, use it because it pretty much offers everything you need for a great holiday. The pool is lovely and a good spot for relaxing and watching the golfers go by, but the beach at Vinaros is superb, and the 'all new' esplanade on the front is fantastic now, offering a variety of restaurants and bars to meet everyone's tastes. If you want something a bit more upbeat then visit Peniscola for a day; its beaches are also good, and then there is always Barcelona or Valencia to visit. Have fun!

We bought the apartment because we are golfers, but also because we love the area. It offers everything you might need for an enjoyable holiday. Golf if you golf. The chance to relax around a pool, or take a trip to the beach, if you are not golfers. To eat in lovely fish restaurants near the sea, and to explore cities such as Barcelona and Valencia. For us it is the whole package.

The complex is very friendly and we have people who manage the apartment for us when we are renting it out. They can make sure that everything runs as smoothly as possible for anyone who chooses to rent our property.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is located in a secure gated community. With no public access and 24 hour security patrols and is a 50 minute drive from the small airport of Reus near Barcelona, and a 15 minute drive from the port of Vinaros. Several airlines run regular flights to Reus throughout the year. The cost of flights do vary, and are usually very competitive, but it can pay to book early to get the best rates. Outside: The large balcony area includes a table and chairs, sun loungers and bbq. The apartment is surrounded by lovely mature gardens and overlooks the 15th fairway. There are mountain views to the back. The swimming pool is of a medium size and is shared with a small number of other apartments. Sun chairs are available around the pool. Utility Room: The utility room includes washing machine, laundry sink and hot water system, and includes all cleaning equipment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels, beach towels and bed linen are included. Arrangements can be made to have towels and linen washed at your convenience. A cot for younger children can be hired For 10€ per week. Basic supplies can be provided at local cost, paid for on arrival. Other: The dining area has a table and seating for 6 people and a sideboard.

Special interest holidays:

The Panoramica complex is a 15 minute drive from the main town of Vinaros, which has an good selection of shops and restaurants. The town has lots of little streets to explore and the beach is excellent. The port area is very attractive and hosts some lovely restaurants, which specialise in fish dishes. Vinaros also has several large supermarkets on the outskirts of town that are easy to find, if you want a night in. There are other equally attractive towns along the coast if you wish to go further afield, including Peniscola, which has a fantastic beach and equally good restaurants. You can sit at the port and watch the fishing boats come in and eat the daily catch at the little restaurants that line the jetty, and then wander around the fortifications that overlook the port.


The apartment is situated close to the coastal town of Vinaros, within a ten minute drive. The town is on the shore of the Mediterranean sea, and is an important fishing port and tourist destination. The beach at Vinaros is wide and sandy and has good facilities. There are also several other lovely towns along the coast that are worth visiting. (Vinaròs is renowned for its tasty prawns).


The apartment is about an hours drive from Barcelona Reus airport. Castellon Airport is now in service and there are three scheduled flights available a week with Ryan Air. This airport is also about an hours drive from the apartment. Car hire is strongly recommended although a taxi can be arranged from Reus to the complex if required. Distances from the several airports: El Prat de Llobregat (08820 Barcelona) + 229km. Manises (46940 Valencia) + 150km. Reus/Tarragona (743200 Reus) + 80km. Castellon Airport +75km.


Vinaros is situated in the Ebro delta in the province of Castellon on the Mediterranean coast 80km. from Castellon, 120 km. from Valencia and 115km. from Tarragona. The Vinaros coastline begins at the river Senia with a series of beautiful coves with crystal-clear water and a rocky sea bed ideal for snorkelling. Opposite the town centre lays Forti, a beach popular with sun-seekers with fine sand and many facilities.

Further Details:

There is a supermarket on site, which opens from 9am to 2pm weekdays, and on Friday and Saturdays all day. There are also several restaurants on the complex, The Braserie, and Antonio's, there is also a restaurant in the clubhouse, which is close to the apartment. We would recommend the Braserie, run by Werner. Very good food.

The main town of Vinaros has a multitude of good fish restaurants and tapas bars. The town also has a selection of supermarkets and banks. The old town is full of small, interesting shops, but there are also some mainstream shops, such as Mango. On a historic note, the most interesting sight in Vinaròs is the fortress-like Església Arxiprestal de l'Assumpció (Archpriestal Church of Mary's Assumption), built in 1583-1596 in Renaissance style, but with a Baroque portal (1698-1702).

Booking Notes:
Contact us by email or mobile and we will let you know as soon as possible if the apartment is available for the dates you request. We require half the rental amount as deposit and final payment of the balance two weeks before departure. The apartment is looked after by our management team, who will meet you when you arrive at the complex, take you to your accommodation, settle you in and make sure you are comfortable. They live on the complex and are therefore on hand to answer any queries.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days can be arranged to fit in with holiday arrangements if the apartment is available for the period that is required.

Notes on prices:
We are quite happy to rent out the apartment for periods shorter than 7 days if required. Email us for price structure.

Payment can be made on arrival. We have a management team who can take payment in cash in Euros or we are happy to accept direct payment into a Spanish bank account. Or payment can be made by cheque in pounds and posted to our UK address. If bookings are made 4 or more months in advance we would like a deposit of 25% of the rental rate, and the full payment on arrival or one week before departure.
