Villa in Antibes, Cote D'Azur, Provence, France - Very Peaceful Location at end of Lane

Delightful villa in a great location at the end of a very quiet cul de sac in Le Ponteil area of Antibes. The villa is extremely well located, only 100m from two public beaches, 500m from the fascinating old town of Antibes and a 1km walk from the lively centre of Juan Les Pins. There are a wide range of shops and restaurants just around the corner, including one of Antibes’ best known boulangeries! This holiday villa has full airconditioning, wifi internet and, with a well appointed garden, private pool (with security system but the swimming pool is not fenced) and a large outside terrace the villa is very self contained. The main room including the dining/living room and kitchen are on the first floor with direct access to the terrace by a bay window. The 3 bedrooms are on the ground floor and can be accessed from the outside next to the swimming pool or via an indoor staircase. The villa has ample parking space but a car isn’t really necessary given that all amenities are close by.

About virginie

We and our three (now grown up) children have been enjoying the summer in Antibes since we bought the property in 2003. The villa is filled with our family holiday photos, and it is our 'family' home in France, as we have been living in China for the last 25 years.

Why virginie chose Antibes

The villa is so convenient, very close to the beach, the old city and the train station, and we have had several enquiries from our guests if the villa might be for sale! This is our "family" house and we love spending time there, especially lounging by the pool to avoid the crowd - a true luxury when you live in China!

If you prefer to stroll along the old city, it is only a few minutes away on foot, and if you want to explore the region , the train station is a 20 minute walk from the property. This is a real advantage for families whose teenagers want to get some free time away from their parents!

What makes this villa unique

Funnily enough we only really found out the unique benefit of our villa after we'd bought it - that is, that it is located at the end of a cul-de-sac and therefore is extremely quiet and peaceful, even during the busy French Riviera summer period.

Notes on accommodation: High chair can be provided on demand. Outside: Garden maintained by professional gardener. Palm tree, various mature shrubs and flower beds and lawn. Private pool with pool side furniture (tables and sun chairs). Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and bath towels are provided ( please note no beach towels provided). Other: The outside terrace includes a BBQ with table and chairs for up to 12 people.

It is beautifully presented throughout and has a great pool which was very much needed as it was very hot! The AC is throughout and so to is the wifi.

Location is perfect... 5 mins walk to beach and 15 mins walk to old town which has loads of great restaurants and bars. The owners were very friendly and helpful and we would happily stay again.

A wonderful villa in great peaceful location

We stayed for the entire month of August. This villa was perfect for our 2 young children and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The pool was warm, clean and well maintained.

The location is perfect as there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops walking distance from the villa. The villa is set back about 100m from the beach however you do not hear the hustle and bustle of the coast and the people.

The interior of the property is bigger than the pictures make out and there is plenty of room for eating, resting and sleeping.

The service was excellent. Whenever we had a question it was answered very quickly and followed up to make sure everything was ok.

If you are looking for a peaceful location with great access to Antibes then this property is perfect.

We will hopefully be back at some point in the future!

All you would ever need...

One of the most relaxing properties to stay in which has everything you would need for your holiday- so much so that we have stayed here on many occasions. The house is set at the end of a quiet road within minutes (walking) of the beach and the most amazing boulangerie for breakfast. The garden and house are very private, calm, and quiet - the pool is a great place to cool down, entertain kids and adults alike. The house, gardens and pool are extremely well maintained and clean, with personal family photographs and touches. It really does feel like home. It is only a short walk to the old town ramparts and streets, which are delightful to stroll along of an evening as the sun goes down, with perhaps a quick game of boules en-route. Plenty of restaurants and cafes tempt your taste buds as you set out to explore. The owners are extremely helpful and will ensure that your stay is perfect; the next door hotelier is also on hand if there are ever any queries. We would definitely recommend this property to friends.

Wonderful house, pool and location

We had a wonderful week in Antibes. The house and the pool area is absolutely perfect and the location could not been better. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to a lovely beach. In the evening we often walked to the old town and all the restaurants. We can really recommend the house.

Relaxng in Antibes

Spent a very relaxing week in this delightful Villa. Superb location - did not really need the rental car - it stood in the drive way all week.!! Villa is very well equipped and spacious. Pool and garden are secluded and very well maintained.

A wonderful place to stay; an attentive owner.

In September we had a fantastic two week stay in this very clean, quiet house, with our two sons and one of their friends and we would most certainly return again. The villa is very comfortable, spacious and in a secluded cul de sac. It is very close to one of the main beaches and promenades in Antibes, and is also very close to a great patisserie and bakery and some decent restaurants, A marvelous location. The pool is a great asset. Also it's a ten minute walk to a good supermarket and also the market in the old town. Antibes is small and friendly, and this house is a great place to stay to enjoy it. It is not the height of luxury, even slightly shabby in places, but it's charming and good value for money in a very expensive part of the Cote d'Azur. During a huge storm one night the electrical system collapsed, save for the burglar alarm and the pool alarm which created havoc. Fortunately the neighbouring hotel owner rushed around with flashlights and helped set up the circuit breakers again. The owner assures us that they have already started to sort out the problem. The hotel owner next door was very helpful throughout our stay, and the owner of the house itself was great to deal with from start to finish - prompt in all her responses and very helpful and friendly. We look forward to returning to this villa again in the future.
