2 bedroom apartment in peaceful and unspoilt location, uninterrupted bay and mountain views, car parking

The apartment is on the first floor and has 2 good size balconies which both have wonderful views. There are floor to ceiling windows in the apartment which make it beautifully light and expose the stunning scenery. New in 2009, the apartment was built to a good standard and thoughtfully furnished by us for our own use. It offers everything you need for either a relaxing break or as a base for an inspiring/adventurous holiday. An English speaking agent will meet you, guide you to and show you round the accommodation. The apartment is set on the lower slopes of Europe's most southerly fjord. There is excellent walking all round and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kotor Old Town is a 15-20 minute waterside walk away. Easily accessible from airports at Dubrovnik, Podgorica or, most conveniently, Tivat, Muo is a charming waterside village with a direct view of Kotor Old Town fortifications. Floodlit at night and reflected in the water of the bay, they make a truly unforgettable sight.

About Francesca Woodhams

Hello, my name is Francesca and I work in special educational provision for children and adolescents.

I bought the apartment as a bolthole for myself and my then teenage children after the sudden death of my husband and we kept the apartment as our retreat. However, it is no longer possible for us all to visit regularly and so I made the decision to let.

Initially, I had my heart set on finding an old, traditional, stone house, but I found myself putting down an off plan deposit on a new build apartment after seeing its wonderful location. I have never regretted it. It is much easier to look after and we have a great community of owners at Kotor View.

The family loves the apartment and has taken pride in furnishing it. It is a home from home that we are pleased for others to enjoy.

Why Francesca Woodhams chose Montenegro

I chose Montenegro because it has everything in a relatively compact area; long coastline,mountains,forests, lakes, not to mention the stunning fjord, Boka Kotorska, and fascinating history. Economy of scale gives intimacy and the pace of life is easy. I always feel I can holiday to suit my mood,ie. relax at the waterfront or in the cobbled squares of the Old Town,go up into the mountains for the wildlife and flowers,visit churches,Roman mosaics,old forts,etc.go in/on the water. It is also a fact that it is not possible to take a non-scenic route anywhere in Montenegro! I was keen on our site above Muo for its breathtaking views over the fjord and its tranquility, but also because of its proximity to the old town of Kotor, the Adriatic and Tivat and easy access to Podgorica and Dubrovnik.

Changeover Day:
The preferred changeover day is Saturday, however I will always do my best to accommodate differing dates. Please feel free to ask.

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.

Notes on accommodation: There are individually controlled heaters/air-conditioning units in all rooms. The apartment has WiFi internet access and there is plenty of hanging and storage space for 6 tenants. Outside: There is a barbecue area with ample tables and chairs, grassed garden area and plenty of sun loungers around the pool. A brand new motor boat, with skipper if required, is available for hire. The boat takes 6 people and is rigged for water skiing, etc. The atmosphere at the apartments is very convivial and easy going, with a good mix of owners and tenants, however there is a high degree of privacy afforded by the design and siting of the apartments, giving you the choice. All outside areas have uninterrupted, breathtaking views, as in the apartment. There is allocated, private parking. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and all linen included, also swimming towels are provided. The apartment will be cleaned before and after each tenancy, however additional cleaning can be arranged easily. Other: Wide entrance hall with cupboard containing hair dryer, iron, ironing board, airer, pegs and vacuum cleaner. All rooms have individually controlled, very efficient air-conditioning and heating units. WiFi internet access.
