A charming, warm & recently renovated Chalet style property perfectly located for skiers/snowboarders in Winter & hikers/mountain bikers and nature lovers in the Summer in the village of Churwalden. Ideal for families and groups.

A well equipped kitchen, large dining room that seats up to 16 and large lounge area with games table bean bags, sofas, flat screen TV, Sky satellite and excellent free wifi in the whole property. 6 Bedrooms that sleep up to 15 guests maximum. 4 Bath rooms and 5 toilets. Plenty of car parking space and a lock up room for skis and mountainbikes.

Comfortable. Clean. Welcoming. Well equipped.

We stayed at the Lodge Feb 2016 and felt at home immediately. It was spacious, comfortable, and had a warm homely feel. It has a well equipped kitchen with all the utensils you could ever need. The living room has loads of room for the kids to run around, dance, and play and plenty of comfortable seats to lounge around on. Jason and Mark were the perfect hosts, discreet, but their company was always a pleasure, and they were supremely helpful. Good location, a stones throw from slopes and similar distance to shops. Had some very enjoyable free-ride outings with Jason and friends, and a fab evening in H2Lai spa. Our only regret is that we did not have the nous to avail ourselves of Marks’ cooking – this will be rectified on our next visit, which I hope, will be soon!

The property is welcoming, warm & comfy

For the last 5 years we have been coming to the Lodge for our family and friends skiing holiday. There are usually around 15 of us of all ages. It is comfortable, spacious and warm. The winner for us is the location to the ski lift and access to public transport. 5 minute walk and you are on the lift to one of the lovliest ski areas in Switzerland! 20 minute bus ride and you are in Chur a charming town, renowned for being the oldest market town in Switzerland. Jason and his team are on hand to help you with anything during your stay. They can organise transport if you wish to explore other resorts, heli drops if you are advanced at skiing and snow boarding and plenty of off piste fun too!

Notes on accommodation: The Lodge is ideal for families, children & groups. The Lodge has a wooden Chalet style 1st floor where the bedrooms are and the ground floor is a converted restaurant/guesthouse. Centrally heated from Sept - April. Outside: Terrace at front of property with tables and chairs ideal for evening barbeques. The heated outdoor community swimming pool is 2 mins walk away. A stream runs next to the Lodge. Utility Room: Washing machine in cellar Separate ski/snowboard & mountainbike storage rooms Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels & Linen provided weekly.
