Casa Panoramica is in the beautiful 'fairytale' Tuscan village of Pereta. The characteristic cobbled streets, tall watch tower, ancient churches, exquisite restaurants and friendly locals really make this place... a little piece of paradise. At the bottom of a quaint alleyway, nestled into the ancient exterior walls, characteristic steps lead up to the bright and spacious Casa Panoramica. Large open plan living area with 2 sofas, kitchen, fireplace. Two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath/shower. French doors open out onto a large private sunny balcony with table and chairs for alfresco dining, sun loungers to relax in the Tuscan sun and stunning views of the peaceful wooded valley. 1 minute walk to restaurants, bar and pizzeria. Only 20 mins drive to lovely sandy beaches. 30 mins to Saturnia hot springs. Free WIFI in the house. There is no parking at the house due to the narrow cobbled streets but free parking is available just 2 minutes walk away in the car park or on the road approaching the village. Would suit a family with children, couples or a group seeking a relaxing retreat in a traditional Tuscan village close to many places of interest. An unforgettable experience and a true taste of Tuscany. Many people return to Pereta year after year... its a real hidden gem.

A true taste of Tuscany

We found the apartment spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and very well equipped. The view was so beautiful from the balcony, the village being very quaint and totally unspoilt. We visited the two restaurants which were excellent. (Although the pizzas were fantastic, our advice would be to book the pizzeria at busy times as we couldn't get a table on our third visit.) The roads around Pereta were gloriously empty even at the peak season and the recommendations for visits were very helpful. We plan to return to Pereta, "The Village of Pears", but instead of one week in August, we would stay for two weeks at a slightly cooler time of year in order to comfortably tour the wider region and cities such as Siena, Rome and Florence.

Casa Panoramica

We spent a wonderful week in Pereta which was the ideal location in which to explore this beautiful region of Tuscany. Casa Panoramica was all we had hoped for and much more - the views from the balcony were beautiful and we spent most days catching the sun. The apartment was great - plenty of room and lovely and clean. Pereta is an unspoilt gem, with the most friendly people and the most wonderful food. We ate at the local restaurants and pizzeria and the quality and hospitality was outstanding. All that is left to say is that we are looking at dates for our return...

Excellent holiday and will be returning

We had a fantastic week at Pereta staying in Casa Panoramica the village house was delightful gave you a real feeling of Tuscany ,the owners had catered for everyone the welcome basket was a really nice touch and saved you rushing to buy amenities straight away.There was loads of good information on the best places to visit which we found very useful ,the accomadation was extremely clean and comfortable.A visit to the local restaurant Marias is recommended excellent food and wine great atmosphere we enjoyed our stay so much that we are returning for 2 weeks stay next year a week was not long enough for us so much to see and do looking forward to returning.

Unspoilt Pereta

We stayed in Casa Panoramica for two weeks in July. The apartment was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. There are lovely views from the balcony, which is a real sun-trap. The master bedroom is very spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this unspoilt corner of Italy. Pereta is a picturesque hilltop village, so peaceful and quaint. We had a lovely view from our balcony and sun loungers in which to relax and enjoy the peace! We toured around the area and although the roads are quite twisty in places, the views are spectacular. The beach we visited most was about half an hour's drive from the apartment. Wonderful! I would definitely recommend Casa Panoramica and hope to return one day.

To cut a long story short. I am a Yorkshire girl who fell in love with an Italian. We both fell in love with Tuscany, especially Pereta!

Why they chose this property

We have spent many holidays in this area of Tuscany before we had children and after, and fell in love with Pereta the very first time we stepped under the arched entrance. I thought it was like a fairytale village.

Casa Panoramica is above our other property Casa Romantica, so I have always had my eye on it as it has a great balcony!

What makes this property unique

Pereta village is a real hidden gem and so is Casa Panoramica. You really feel like you are hidden away all alone but actually you are in the village close to everthing. I love the bright open space in the house and the large balcony is so private and relaxing... great for sun bathing and al-fresco dining. I could spend all day on the balcony!

We love to eat out when we go to Pereta as Maria's restaurant serves the best and cheapest set menu ever with traditional local food to die for. We all enjoy going to the pizzeria with Franco's pizza's definitely the best in Italy and it has to be the most child friendly place ever! We love popping to the beach or Saturnia Springs.
