It was one of those places you can't wait to get back to. Very large accommodations with everything you need to make you feel right at home, The views from the upstairs were amazing. The people you meet are so friendly and welcoming! The entire area had great hiking and beautiful, peaceful scenery. It's a great place for a stress free vacation. The history of Triora is facinating and it's just a wonderful place to be. Can't wait to return! The entire process ofcrentingvthe place was easy. The owner communicated regularly and the property manager was always eager to help in anything we needed. Overall, 5 stars and I would recommend highly.

Can't recommend highly enough!

The apartment is wonderful and very well equipped. It's comfortable, nicely furnished and has a certain quirkiness to it which is very endearing. On arrival it was clear it had been freshly cleaned.

The village is fascinating, full of interesting walks through medieval alleys emerging to view the peaks & troughs of the Dolomites. You can find the remains of a castle there and I truly recommend the trek down the hill to view the chapel there.

The sea is about 40 minutes away and there are lovely rock pools situated a lot nearer to the apartment.

The apartment is next to a very good restaurant & during the day the Cafe next to that is open for refreshing drinks. Their 'Toast' is to be recommended (toasted cheese and ham sandwich). You will be very well looked after by Clara who owns this cafe.

Delightful well-equipped house in a fascinating village. 35 minutes drive from the coast up to pure air and stunning scenery in the mountains, with swimming in mountain rock pools or down at the beach, and plenty of characterful towns to visit. Highly recommended.

Triora is a vibrant friendly village or 'borgo' perched high in the Maritime Alps with spectacular views and scenery. It is a village that is ideal for relaxing - be that walking, sight seeing or just enjoying a drink in a local bar watching the world go by. In 2005 Triora was added to the official list of Italy’s most beautiful villages. Triora boasts a charming hotel and restaurant, along with little bars, a pizzeria / osteria, a grocery store, and many small village shops. The narrow winding roads and paths of the medieval centre often draw comparison with scenes from fantasy films such as Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter and given the rich history of the area this is perhaps unsurprising. In 1587 the village was the centre of Italy's last witch trials, and much of Triora's tourism has evolved from this odd fact.

It also boasts spectacular views over the village and mountains, whilst being sheltered from prevailing winter winds enabling year round use. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. An 80 euro cleaning fee will be charged & collected upon arrival. Other: Sun lounge / second living room.
