Recently Refurbished large 2 bedroom ground floor apartment in a beautiful complex with mature tropical gardens and fountains, and 2 shared pools (including a heated childrens pool). The apartment has recently been refurbished to a very high standard, giving it a real contemporary look, nice and bright with modern furniture and decor. It also has a new satellite TV system which boasts a large number of UK channels. There is free WI-FI available in the apartment. The apartment is close to a large local supermarket and various restaurants, but if you prefer the highlights of the port, Puerto Banus is a 12 minute stroll, where there is a beautiful marina, beaches, plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from and a wide range of shops.

About the Owner

I live in England with my family. My children have grown up and all use the apartment at various times of the year. I have owned various properties on the Costa del Sol, but chose to retain only this apartment in La Maestranza. We always preferred this apartment due to the spacious accommodation for a modern apartment, it's huge terrace, where we spend 90% of our time and it's close proximity to the shops and restaurants of Banus and Marbella. It's location has enabled my parents and friends who won't drive to happily stay in this area without any problems.

The apartment & location made this an absolutely perfect hol. The pick up/drop off service to & from Malaga airport was excellent! The apt felt like home from home, you have certainly thought of everything to make this a comfortable stay for any visitor. The living area is spacious and very comfortable, the apt was very clean & the large patio was such a bonus with all day sun, we never really visited the pool! The location was excellent, we had no need for a taxi throughout our stay and the walk to Banus Marina was very pleasant with so many choices of shops, restaurants on the way too. We will certainly be recommending your apt to friends and family and will definitely look to book again next year. S.Roten - 19/6/11

We had a great time in Spain and all thought the apartment was excellent! We particularly appreciated the quiet spot we had on the complex & loved eating al fresco on the huge terrace. The pool areas were fantastic too.

We purchased the apartment at La Maestranza during it's construction in 2001. We chose the complex for it's excellent location being close to both Puerto Banus, Marbella Town and it having the infrastructure of shops, supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. We were lucky to have the opportunity of purchasing this specific apartment as it boasts the largest corner terrace in the whole complex and its ground floor location provides easy access. As a corner apartment, it was larger than any of the other 2 bed apartments under construction and although we did purchase 2 other apartments, also under construction in this complex, we chose to retain this one as it was the largest.

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary


12 minute stroll to Puerto Banus beach and Marina/Restaurants, Bars and Shops. Within a 10 minute drive are the beaches and promenades of Marbella Town and San Pedro.


There are several options of transport from Malaga airport to the apartment. We can arrange a private transfer from Malaga airport to the apartment (on request). Alternatively there are taxis or a direct bus service is available to Marbella centre, then a short taxi journey to the apartment.


Marbella town and beach is approximately 10 mins taxi journey, with the beaches of San Pedro 10/15 mins drive in the opposite direction. Access to Gibraltar by car/bus is approximately 45-60 mins. For families with children there is a large Aqua Park in Fuengirola (approx 35 mins by car/bus).

Further Details:

There is a large supermarket within 2 mins walk, fully stocked with both Spanish and International produce. The complex also boasts a coffee shop and deli/wine bar and many restaurants within walking distance. There is a pharmacy and a doctor's surgery each within 50 yds of the complex.

The main attraction of whilst staying at the apartment has to be the outside accommodation with the huge terrace offering all day sun and the ability to dine "alfresco". Also the close proximity of many restaurants enables you to eat out at night without worrying about transport.
