Villa in Vale de Parra, Central Algarve - Semi-rural Location, 1 Mile From The Beach

Situated in Vale de Parra, around a mile from the nearest beaches at Galé and around 4 miles from Albufeira, this 7 bedroom villa is an excellent conversion of a typical Algarvian farmhouse. Surrounded by a fragrant citrus orchard, the extensive grounds of this villa are accessed through remote controlled gates and shares the grounds and tennis court with only one other villa. The villa comes with its own extensive patio areas around the private swimming pool (6x12m) and is ideal for large groups as the accommodation is split into two separate parts - the original farmhouse conversion and an annexe offering a total of 7 bedrooms, 2 kitchens and 5 bathrooms. In addition there is a purpose built shaded barbecue area. Small shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance and the town of Guia, with a further choice of restaurants and a large shopping centre, is around 2 miles away.

About The Owner

My name is Jorge and I live in the Algarve. I handle the bookings and manage villas on behalf of private owners. I will be on hand during your stay if you have any questions or require assistance.

Why The Owner chose Albufeira

The owner of this property is Portuguese and the villa has been in his family for several generations. It was originally converted for the purpose of renting as a holiday home in 1990. It has since been modernised and updated throughout, whilst retaining its Portuguese style. We have been handling bookings on behalf of the owner for his English speaking clients since 1985.

What makes this villa unique

This villa really lends itself to extended or multiple family groups who want to stay together but still have some privacy when required. If one family wants to sleep till midday whilst the others want to get up and have an early breakfast, the two kitchens and living areas allow for that. I have had many groups like this and several that have come to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries together.

Notes on accommodation: Both the main house and the annexe are all on one level although the main house has three steps leading to the small patio area at the back. This villa is private and secure, accessed by remote controlled gates at the grounds´ entrance. Outside: The villa is set within extensive grounds most of which are occupied by a fragrant orchard of citrus trees. Within the grounds there is a tennis court shared with one other villa only. There is a large swimming pool measuring 6 by 12 metres private to the guests at Casa das Flores. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen (changed once a week) and towels (changed twice a week) are included. Maid service is three times a week.

Fantastic holiday destination

We really loved our holiday at Val de Parra. The swimming pool area and whole communal area was fantastic. Jorge and Sohie were great with their communication and help. The maids also were super helpful and everything was kept very clean. The drains did smell a little at times but we had a lot of rain at one point which I think didn't help this situation. When we told Jorge he sent someone out very promptly to deal with it. Apart from the beds in the smaller house being very hard we could not fault our stay. The area was beautiful with lots to do even late in the season. We would highly recommend it!

fantastic set of two villas

we are a group of 12 mixed age people with mental health issues and this is one of the best villas we have used in the past ten years and with the biggest pool. it had everything you will need plus lots more. everything is within walking distance or there is a good transport system which is very cheep. old and new town was only 12 euro in a taxi and the strip is worth a visit .

the washing machine stopped working and within a day was fix, gas run out and within an hour was back on. excellent maid service. Jorge and is team couldn't do enough for you

Changeover Day:
Changeover is normally Saturdays but there is a degree of flexibility, especially in the quieter months.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for 10-14 people. Lower rates for up to 6 people and for 7-9 people available (outside peak season). Please enquire.

30% of total invoice required to secure the booking. Balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure.
Security deposit of €50.00 per person normally guaranteed by a valid credit card. Credit card will not be charged unless required to cover any damage occurred during your stay. Even then clients will be advised beforehand.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
